I had a three hour appointment window and was advised I’d need to be present for it. There was a pipe actively leaking in my living room which required several buckets to catch the water. I left work and called to make sure my appointment was still set. The person who answered the phone affirmed that it was. No one showed up and no one called to say that a tech would be late. I called 10 minutes before the end of my appointment window, at that point i was advised that the tech could not make the appointment. I did not bother rescheduling and went with a different company- ridiculously poor communication and a waste of time.

I called at 6am for an appointment. Was told a tech would arrive between 11-2, they never called. I called multiple times asking for updates. At 2pm they said the tech would arrive between 3-6pm. I called at 4, 5, 6 they said I had "cancelled my appointment" due to computer error but someone could come from 6-9. They even confirmed with my tenant. Then at 6:15 called to cancel the appointment because they don't have techs from 6-9 can they come tomorrow. Seriously? They advertise as same day, emergency service 24/7 - yeah right! Worst experience ever. I wasted hours and hours of my day calling and my tenant rescheduled her work day too. Do not use this company. Not even an apology they tried to blame me for the situation! Awful.

Millies cancelled an emergency appointment (that was scheduled 5 hours earlier) right at the end of the day leaving two elderly people with health issues in oppressive heat. Millies said their technician had an emergency but this was after I had already spoken directly with another technician earlier in the day who told me he didn’t have the right equipment (a ladder). Don’t commit to a job and fail to keep the appointment. We could’ve and should have gone with a different company. Do not rely on Millies in an emergency situation.

The installers came on time and were very professional. They performed their job quickly and efficiently. I called Millie's HVAV at 7:25am in the morning. They sent me an estimate in less than an hour and completed the installation the same day. I would hire this firm again.

I am very impressed with Millie's HVAC! Millie's HVAC scheduled the appointment quickly. Prior to Millies HVAC, I had another company look at the unit. The other company sent young techs who didn't want to put their hands on the unit or try to fix it and were quick to recommend a unit replacement. I was sick about it because of the expense. Millie's HVAC technician Wilson L. kindly listened to me, asked great questions, clearly understood the AC problem before jumping in, and was able to fix it. I'm now a loyal Millie's HVAC customer. We had a great experience with Millie’s. They were the only company willing to come out the same day (it was over 90) and then quickly diagnosed and fixed the unit. They also advised us to clean our units and showed our son how to do it. Before leaving, the repairman took the time to do the cleaning himself. We’ve had no other problems all summer

My residential AC went out during the hottest summer on record. After calling the entity with which i had a service contract, as well as other entities from the internet, Millies have me the most comprehensive information, the best quote and the quickest, most excellent service. The team arrived on schedule, completed the work timely and within budget. I have had no problems since their service call, highly recommend Millies and could not be more pleased.

Our initial experience with Millies was very positive: our A/C started showing signs of failure, and they were able to come out the same day to look at it. They offered to recharge the refrigerant or that they could install a new complete system as early as the next day. As we knew our system was near its end of life, we agreed, and the next day our new system was put in.

That was the last time they were timely or responsive.

We had asked for a humidifier to be installed as well - and paid for it. The team that installed the new system didn't know anything about it, and hadn't brought one with them in any case. When we followed up they asked if we could, as a favor, wait until the next month to get it done as they were at the peak of the summer season. We agreed. The appointment arrived, weeks later, and the installer was a no-show. We called, and they asked if we could reschedule. The day came, and they cancelled. All together it took about seven appointments to get our already paid-for humidifier installed, which my wife had to set time aside for to be at home on every occasion. They finally came with the humidifier, and only then realized that it wouldn't fit well into our utility closet. Maybe measure that earlier, hm? So it was delayed some more. The company was never particularly apologetic for any of this. Finally they install another model of, and its a puny little thing, so I look up what we had been charged $300 for: it turns out it retails for $100. So, we were asked to pay $200 for labor (less than one hour for one person) that was supposed to have been done as part of a larger installation (so that it didn't require a separate trip) and was delayed more than half a dozen times. Were they willing to refund even a part of that price? Absolutely not.

We ran into issues as well trying to use an online coupon they have: it reads clearly, with no caveats: $200 off with the installation of a complete HVAC system. Well, we got a complete system installed. Will they honor the coupon? No, they won't: apparently there are some hidden, unexplained, still unclarified requirements such that it only applies to more expensive high SEER models. It's nothing less than deceptive.

Finally, as part of the installation we had them move the external condenser unit around the corner of our house to support a future expansion project. They left the old hole, a few inches across and leading directly from the outdoors into our garage entirely open until asked about it, when they just plugged it with some leftover insulation. They also left the old line set in our attic, in the way of our storage and needing to be cut up to be removed, until we finally got them to come and take it out months later - the last time we hope to ever deal with them.

In all this, they were unresponsive, condescending, and rude. I hated dealing with them. I wish we would have had the time to find a better company for this major work.

Update: The humidifier stopped working within months. Subtracting that second star.
