Had another company come over and told me we had a leak in our system, never looked for the leak, went straight into selling me a new unit. Heard about Williamsburg hvac, schedule a appointment on line and was called shortly after. Seth my technician came over found my leak, explained how everything works, it was the evaporator, next day Seth and hunter, arrived and installed the new one, charged system, cleaned up, and made sure I was satisfied. Both man very professional. I will recommend this company to everyone I know. Gentle man keep up the great work. Thanks hank

My AC went on the fritz one month after the warranty was over, Derrick was on time, polite, and professional during the visit..he explained the problem and what he had to do to correct it....you won't be disappointed using Williamsburg Heating & Air Condition...in this day and time, when you find a contractor that does quality work, you put them in your phone contacts for safe keeping...

I true pleasure to work with such professionals. I was in a bind, getting ready to close on my house, and in need of a few repairs to meet the inspection clause. I called another company that gave me the run around for 3 weeks. I called WHAC, explained my situation, and a service tech came right out. He assessed the problem and the repairs were done within three days. Both technicians, the ladies in the office, and the owner of the company were thoughtful, gracious and helpful. Highly recommend!

You can draw your own conclusion - the following is fact w/o my prejudiced opinion.

In May 2020, we decided to have our dual zone ACs & furnaces replaced. We rcvd two estimates: locally via Williamsburg Heating & Air Conditioning in Toano & Home Depot (who contracts RS Andrews from Southside/Chesapeake).

Williamsburg Heating & Air Conditioning wanted to use all existing ducts, keep both air handlers and replace both 2-ton units with two new 2-ton units. I insisted that I felt the upstairs unit was too small to handle Virginia summers but Williamsburg Heating & Air Conditioning insisted 2-ton were sufficient.

RS Andrews' agreed with my assessment, & their estimate included a 2.5 ton unit for the upstairs (2-ton downstairs), enlarging the upstairs air handler to accommodate the 2.5 ton unit, increasing the size of the ducting & adding a new duct to the hottest room, and reconfiguring another duct (more straight-line flow) to make cooling of the 2nd hottest room more efficient.

Despite being more expensive, we decided to contract RS Andrews as we felt we'd be getting new units but have the "same" excessive heat issues with the Williamsburg Heating & Air Conditioning estimate. Since Williamsburg Heating & Air Conditioning is a hometown business and we had really wanted to do business with the hometown company, I called the owner and spoke about why we were choosing Home Depot/RS Andrews (advising that despite being more expensive, they agreed that additional work would provide a better outcome). The owner of Williamsburg Heating & Air Conditioning even thanked me, he said "people never take the time to call back to explain & provide us feedback" and he was "appreciative" [that I bothered to call him]. He also said "if you ever need service or routine maintenance, we'd love your business".

Fast forward to June 2021, 13-months later. Our downstairs (direct electrical power) digital thermostat lost power and the downstairs AC was offline. I tried all of the routine resets but I could not get the thermostat & unit back on so I made calls looking for a same day service call.

Being a Friday, RS Andrews could not come to Toano until next Monday so I called Williamsburg Heating & Air Conditioning. After getting a confirmed appointment via a technician, 20-minutes later the owner called me. He stated "I specifically remember you because I helped [the technician] with the estimate. I can't believe RS Andrews won't service you ... you could have gone with a local hometown company … but it was a slap in the face that you paid more to someone out of town. We prefer not to service your unit, you need to call RS Andrews & have them service their own unit because we will not be servicing it".

This company is Top Drawer. We used other HVAC companies with mediocre to poor service. The owner of Williamsburg, Brian, is very trustworthy and pleasant to deal with. Our technician, Donny, is highly knowledgeable, extremely thorough and a pleasure to depend upon for our climate control needs. He knew just what we needed in new HVAC systems, and was even able to get our old units up and running until the new units could be installed. A previous technician from a different company could not do that. Williamsburg go above and beyond the norm.

My AC stopped working at midnight. I called them at 9am, I got a call back at 11am with an appointment between 1pm-3pm. Hunter was at my house exactly at 1pm and completely done in 30 minutes. This is all in the same day without prior notice and they accommodated very well. Hunter found within the first 5 minutes exactly what was wrong, fixed it and then continued to check the unit in total and serviced it to the max. I not only enjoyed Hunter's wonderful attitude and service, the price was unbelievably low. Call them you won't be dissapointed. HUNTER, you are SUPER AWESOME! See you in Spring!!!!

Today is the second time I've used WB Heating & Air since moving to WB almost 3 years ago (and to a new home). I highly recommend them for their responsiveness, puntuality, the quality of their work, and the value of their services. Our technician, Seth, is the best! I will be calling them before summer to service our air conditioning unit.
