John arrived early. We appreciated that. He exhibited professionalism, concern and understanding while dealing with these 2 retirees. My lovely wife had questions that John thoughtfully answered to the best of his ability. I appreciated that. He checked our units outside and in the attic before making any determinations.He made us comfortable while conversing. He replaced both our problem thermostats with new ones that were simpler to use. "We are simpler folks". My wife and I would definitely utilize his company again as
well for a maintenance contract too. We would unquestionably refer Shaffer to our friends.Thanks.

A fantastic company! Great customer support from beginning to end of the process. We reached out to Shaffer Heating and Cooling for an estimate in having our oil heat converted to electric, and after meeting with them we decided to follow through with their company. The team was really informed and go the extra mile at every stage. Every question was answered without hesitation. They completed the work each day to get to a good stopping point that wouldn't inconvenience our family and even finished earlier than planned. The team took the time each day to explain what they had completed and what to expect the following day. Jon Shaffer came out within an hour of me calling on a Friday afternoon when my radiators were not emitting heat. He did a differential diagnosis, keeping me informed along the way of what the issues could be, and what the resulting repairs would entail. He triple checked in hopes that the worst case scenario (most extensive repair required) wasn’t the issue, but when it ultimately was, he fixed it same day and at a very reasonable price. I’m so grateful.

Did not complete all the work needed. Left hole in duct work(not vent pipe) and advised to put foil tape on it myself. Refused to look at the entire Hvac system and duck work connected to it.
