Awesome company. Heat went out and it was unbearably cold in the house. Called Hobbs and they came out the same say. Technician was amazing and fixed it the first visit. Didnt try to upsell on anything and helped us save on the repair. Heat works like a champ now. The owner even called me the next day to personally thank me and make sure that we were beyond satisfied. Highly recomend this company!!!!

Wow! Fast and friendly from the two ladies who scheduled my emergency appointment down to my tech Casey Ohmsen. Woke up on this frigid day to no heat, text my neighbor who recommended Hobbs, so glad he did. Casey was professional, efficient and informative! I look forward to our preventive maintenance agreement in the future!!

I have been a customer of Hobbs Mechanical for the last ten years. I am not one to write reviews but had to regarding the last service call. The main breaker in one of my panel boxes tripped the night before which was totally odd so I lost power to three quarters of my house. I texted Jeff at 6:30am the next morning as I did not want to call so early. With 30 seconds of sending the text I received a call from Jeff asking what the problem was. As I explained, he offered several solutions where one of them corrected the problem. He could have sent someone out to look at it, flip a switch, and charge me a service fee, but he did not. He even stated to call him back if those options didn't work. The point is, every time I call or text him, he returns them PROMPLTLY. Jeff and his employees are extremely knowledgeable, always on time, friendly, and the price is very reasonable. I would HIGHLY recommend Hobbs Mechanical to anyone needing HVAC and electrical services.

We were extremely lucky to learn about Hobbs AC . Temps well above the 90's and expected to be higher and an AC unit that went on the fritz.
I called that morning and the technician was able to squeeze our crisis into an already overbooked morning. My area just happened to be on the way to his next destination. What luck! Very prompt and arrived ASAP. Explained the diagnostic procedures and the cause of our problem. The cost didn't break the bank as expected considering this was an unscheduled stop. Bottom line for fast, honest,reliable,cost friendly service,I would definitely contact them again for AC or any other issues that arise in the future.

I was hoping I would have had a good experience based on the reviews for Hobbs on Google. But, when a $3.00 part costs me $340.00, I feel like I've been taken advantage of, especially for something I could have easily replaced myself. After being told what the issue was, I was thinking...great! this is simple and couldn't cost more than $50 to fix, tops. Then I was presented with the bill. Lesson learned...always ask in advance how much it's going to cost. The service was fine, but I can't offer more than 1 star to a company that rips me off (and doesn't care about my disagreement with the price).

I recently had my gas heat and air conditioning equipment replaced by Hobbs. This included the one unit for downstairs and a split unit that services upstairs. The team was prompt, courteous and worked diligently even through rain that came through area. I have a slightly curving staircase that they had to navigate and great care was used to prevent any damage from occurring. They did a remarkable job.

Jeff did some work to tie the feed from my sub panel into the main panel at the house. He did an excellent job and I had no trouble with my Final. He even loaned me a tool to do some of the prep work, which ultimately saved me about $150. I can't say enough about how pleased I am. I will certainly call him again for electrical and A/C work.

Our heat went out at 4:30am...put a request in via the website and we got a response back not even 3 hours later! Jeff came out the same day. He even drove to Greenbrier to get a new motor for us (we live in Isle of Wight) and came back and had it installed. We were "broken" to "fixed" within a day:) Great customer service, knowledgeable technicians, very organized, and wonderful to work with! Thank you!
