To service heating/AC, install a generator, clean out duct work and will be calling them again for back flow meter certification in March! This company is high is moral character and community service. They are Chamber members and can be trusted.

Repeat customer, and another GREAT experience with positive results to get my old HVAC system working again. The technician, Casey, was very personable, highly proficient and knowledgeable. Customer service was also friendly and responsive when scheduling my appointment. Highly recommend Hobbs Mech for your service needs.

The technician sent to my house was awesome. Very knowledgeable and professional, and made my old system run as well as it can. I received a quote that was substantially higher than other companies and I feel that the office could handle simple questions in a more professional manner so I can’t give a 4 star rating.

Called after hours, receptionist took my information, a tech called me almost immediately, he showed up at the scheduled time. Tech was very professional, informative and friendly. He had our ac back up and running in no time! If you are looking for a professional and friendly heating and air conditioning company, hands down Hobbs Mechanical is the only option!

05/05/17 - Dean, Elijah, Ryan, Ryan, and Cody performed a complete HVAC installation (new gas furnace & AC) with ductwork replacement. All of them did a great job and the work quality was professional. I was impressed the owner did a final inspection and made sure the installation was completed correctly. Hobbs went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and all of my concerns were resolved.

04/07/17 - Casey did a great job replacing 2 outside light fixtures. He completed quickly and to my satisfaction.

03/31/17 - Casey did an excellent job restoring power to my garage. He replaced a failed GFI outlet. Hobbs is my go to guy for my electric and HVAC needs.

Arrived on time, performed repairs professionally and reasonably! Very knowledgeable Couldn't ask for anything better than that. Cold front on it's way, but my house is toasty warm. My heat pump is older and needed serious help to get working. Two polite, friendly technicians went to work, and had things working great in no time. I would definitely not hesitate to call them again.

Had our gas hot water tank removed from the attic, and replaced with a tank-less on demand unit mounted in the garage. Took the time to educate me on my model options and did a great job. I had 3 other quotes and they were the lowest too. The job took more than one day, but we never lost hot water more than a few minutes. They other company's said I would be without gas for 12 to 24 hours.

Hobbs Mechanical has been amazing, called on a Friday (after hours) for a quote and they had someone here Monday. The quote was the best in the area. The crew that did the install are very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

I want to thank Hobbs Mechanical for repairing our A/C quickly and inexpensively. Specifically, I am thankful to the scheduler, Michelle for restoring my faith in customer service. She went out of her way to accommodate my schedule and was sure to communicate before, during, and after the repair to explain every step of the diagnostic process and invoicing procedures. She informand she wanted to get us scheduled immmediately due to an increase in temperature reported for the end of the week. She was genuinely concerned about my family and did not want us to endure anymore time without A/C. She reassured me of the quality of the technicians and called me throughout the repair process to ensure I was satisfied and understood what the technician identified. She even followed up afterwards to ensure the repair took care of the issue. It is rare today to find a company that is willing to go above and beyond for its customers. Two previous companies I called for quotes took days to call back. One quoted a repair price before diagnosing the issue and never returned my request for a diagnostic appointment. The other called back after my A/C was already fixed by Hobbs to tell me they had availability, a week later! I have switched to Hobbs Mechanical for our A/C needs and will not go anywhere else. My A/C unit stopped working and I searched for a company to come and repair it. I found two in Suffolk who actually took my phone call at 4:45 PM on a Wednesday, both said they would be there in the AM. Only one showed up...Hobbs Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.

The technician was personable and professional. The work was done swiftly and we were back on track. The A/C ran again.

We had another issue with the A/C immediately after its repair. When I phone Hobbs, they were more than accommodating to come and explore what was happening. They assured me that they would see if earlier repairs were performed correctly or if there was a new issue undetected.

They accommodated my schedule so that I didn't have to lose time from work. Jeff Hobbs, the owner of the company came out himself. With a few minor adjustments all was running again from an issue not related to the previous work.

Hobbs will make sure that their customers are satisfied and happy with the work. They will come out and look at your issues for a fee. Once they diagnose and make recommendations, it is your choice to proceed or not to proceed. Everything is upfront and they answer all questions.

One of their key points of service is that they stock parts for a variety of units on their service trucks so that time is not wasted ordering and running for parts. While I am sure there are exceptions, most work can be accomplished while at the home or business.

I will call on them again. We are looking to replace our old and out dated system. I believe that they will give the best work and, most importantly, they will back up their work. Hobbs Air Conditioning & Refrigeration will make certain that I, the customer, am satisfied.
