Hobbs Mechanical

Our AC went out and we called Hobbs the same day it went out. They were able to come out on the same day to diagnose the problem. We ended up needing a brand new AC unit. The following morning they were at our house and we had AC by 3PM in the afternoon.

I was 9+months pregnant and had a 1.5 year old son and they made sure to take real good care of us and get the AC up and running as quickly as possible. It was 85 degrees+ and we thank them so much for making us feel like a priority and that they really cared.

My heat was out and I emailed Hobbs mechanical. They called me first thing in the morning set up a appointment. The technician Tyler was on time, very courteous, and got my heat back working. Prices were very fair. I will gladly use them in the future.

AC Unit fan stopped working the other day. I had called American Home Shield and they dispatched one of their contractor reps named Tri Star to come and look at it. Tech from the other company arrived and was done in less than fifteen minutes and barely looked at things. Even though the AC was running i noticed the temperature would not drop below 77 degrees and was constantly running. So i researched the other company and located a bunch of negative reviews mentioning them telling people their motor was bad or they needed a new unit to only discover that was not the case.

No way in hell was i going to call them back after what i read. Because the other tech kinda went down the same path with me as the reviewers i read - basically indicating if they need to came back they might have to replace the motor.

So i looked up local services (which, i should have done in the first place) locating Hobbs with lots of positive feedback. Called them and described the issue at hand to the lady on the phone - She indicated they would be happy to help take a look. She indicated she needed to look at the schedule and asked if she could place me on hold a min. When she came back on the phone she indicated she could send her technician Kevin over right now. I was completely FLOORED because i was expecting the next day or two with the recent hot weather. THIS IS WHAT SERVICE IS ABOUT!!!!

Kevin was at my house in about 15 mins - Whom was extremely polite and friendly to talk with the whole time. He went through and checked all the intake filters in the house. An also tested the AC unit with his equipment. The temp on the AC coolant was running at about 153 degrees at the time and over working itself due to the core being clogged up - you could feel the heat coming off the AC unit. Long story short i optioned for the yearly maintenance and cleaning of the AC - After all was said and done you could feel a immediate difference of the air flow coming off the AC Unit exhaust fan.

He said he would be able to have another tech over tomorrow to go over the other half of the equipment in the attic. Unfortunately due to my scheduling constraints i had to elect for the day after.

But overall I've been very impressed, pleased, and satisfied with Hobbs Mechanical as a company and Kevin himself. I'll certainly be using them from here on. Two Thumbs up in my opinion!!

FYI - After about three hours from Kevin's departure the house is finally sitting at a nice cool 73 degrees again!! Thank you Kevin and Hobbs Mechanical for all your help and assistance!!

Hobbs mechanical has serviced both our heating and AC systems and we couldn't be happier. Casey was professional, answered our questions thoroughly, and provided amazing service. We will definitely use this company again.

We used Hobbs Mechanical to provide a second opinion regarding the heat pump in our office. The other company sent had said that it was just down one pound of Freon. Hobbs Mechanical came out and determined that there were issues with the wiring that was not providing enough amps and could have possibly caused a fire as well as being short three and a half pounds of Freon. We will not hesitate to call Hobbs Mechanical if the need arises again.

While researching which HVAC company to service our system I came across Hobbs AC. All reviews for this company I can say first hand are all on par and in the future Hobbs will be my first choice hands down and it will be the only company I will recommend for any kinda of HVAC service. Our issue, like many others, consisted of an AC that was not performing as it used to so I called on a Thursday after closing. The first thing I noticed was the offer to come out well after closing to inspect the system. This above all else stood as a very good indication of the level of professionalism I would be dealing with. When the technicians arrived they were very professional, courteous, and to the point by further explaining the cause of our issue (after examining the system). The technician went even further by detailing what filters we should be using due to our animals. Long review and bottom line Hobbs AC is for cost effective , honest, professional, and reliable company.

Definitely 5 stars! Hobbs Mechanical was awesome and delivered great service. They arrived on time and the technicians were very knowledgeable and friendly. I will be referring Hobbs to all my friends and family!
