    They had no idea what they are doing. They showed us it works by touching a screw driver to it. They left after we waited one week for them even to come out. Then had to wait another 2 weeks again for them to so call fix it. We have long screws and wires coming out the top of are AC. They said this was normal. My husband checked it again after they left, it did not work. He called them literally 20 minutes after they left. They told him to call back in 3 hours. They would be closed by then. Then we tried calling them again, they said they wouldn't deal with us that we had to call are insurance again. Bad bad business

    Avoid this business at all costs if you can. I have not had AC since the beginning of the month. I contacted my home warranty and they had a tech come out from Cecil&Sons which ended up being a disaster so they sent a tech from ATR out for a second opinion. The tech diagnosed the problem and said he would contact my warranty company.

    After a week my warranty company called me and said I'd have to pay $1515 out of pocket for uncovered parts. I called ATR every day for over a week but no one answered. It goes to an answering machine that has someone with a heavy accent saying 1 word (I don't know if it's a name or a non-English word) then a beep. I left messages but got no call back. I sent several emails but got no response. I contacted my home warranty 3 times before they were able to get through to the company and were told ATR never ordered the parts because I have to pay first. How was I to know when no one answers and no one called me?!?! My warranty was finally able to connect me, after waiting on hold for 53 minutes, and they took my payment. No apologies just said they'd contact me with a service date. I have yet to be contacted!!!

    It is now almost July and I still don't have AC. I have kids,pets and my elderly father living with me and it's been in the 80's - 90's outside for weeks now. Hopefully I get serviced before the end of summer

    This is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever had to deal with. They have rescheduled my appointment three different times to repair my AC unit and have my money, but everytime I call to speak to someone or the supervisor, they drop my call. PLEASE do not use this company they are TERRIBLE!!!! I think they may be scammers!!!

    I would NOT recommend using this company. I have AHS warranty and they picked this contractor. Their communication or lack of and customer service was terrible. They did not communicate at all with the customer /myself as to why it was taking so long and what was going on. I went 6 weeks with NO AC during the hottest days, July / August..I have stage 4 cancer and even that wasn't taken into consideration.
    The technician / installer ( Doug ) was awesome. But, the people behind the scenes running the company , not good.

    We paid for their pre-season heating system check. The technician came out an in step #2 found a leak. He said we had to get that fixed by out Home Warranty company (which we did) and that they would send someone back out to finish inspection. We have been calling and our Home Warranty people keep calling and they will put us on hold then hang up. Supervisor Ivan gave an extension number for when we called back he claimed he would personally set it up....well....there is no way to get to that extension number and the horrible English speaking operators won't forward the call unless you give your address. They then put us on hold then says that Ivan is unavailable and will return my call later or tomorrow...he never does. They will take your money and not provide the service they claim. USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY, THESE GUYS ARE THE WORST.

    I had several contractors to visit to fix my AC/Heating however no one could diagnose the issue effectively. When ATR General Services came they properly diagnosed my issue and made repairs. They always showed up on time, company always called updating me on how close they were in reaching my home based on my schedule appointment, ordered my parts for repair promptly and always explained what the issue was in great detail. Punctuality and Responsiveness was never a problem during my schedule appointments. The work was always done in professional and satisfied manner. I would recommend this company to my family and friends for business.

    From my experience with this company, I absolutely WOULD NOT reccomend them to anyone! I gave a one star because that was the lowest option. I could've gone much lower!

    In the spring they replaced a freeze board and Freon, so we felt that they were ok. However in October they diagnosed that we have a problem with the air handler. ATR said that in order to fix the problem we need to pay for $2,100.00 in parts before they would come out. I agreed to pay the out of pocket, but no one ever called. At least three times that I called I got a voice mail that says I am next in the que, but eventually (more than 20 minute wait) I receive a message that says the party that I am trying to reach is no longer available, then it hangs up. Since that time I have read reviews that stated they have collected money upfront in the past, but no one ever showed up.

    I usually do not leave reviews but this time i really have to share my experiences with this company, hopefully it will save another family. We had the unpleasant experience of his company by way if AHS (American Home Shield) 1st they told us we needed freon and charged us 190.00 to add freon to the unit. Then they changed a copper connection coil and said someone would be back out to charge the unit (whatever the heck that means) 🙄 when they left the unit then started to rain water from it, we called them back they came back out and then said it was a copper connector that was the issue, they changed the connections and actually ripped the drain coil pan apart. They told us not to run the system vecause they were waiting for authorization from AHS and someone would be back out to repair the sytem. That was day two....7 days later i called AHS and ATR and continued getting the run around. I finally called 2 other HVAC companies out to look at the system, they both agreed we would need an entire NEW system due to ATR breaking the coiled pan out of the system. To date it is Now October, Im still awaiting a resolve and have not heard from ATR or AHS.... needless to say now I will gather all my paperwork to pursue liegal action on this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR AHS IF YOU ARE IN NEED of HOME REAPIRS...they are a RIP OFF.
