I gave them 1 star cause their isn't anything less you can rate them! I have been with AHS for many years and apparently they outsourced their call center because I had difficulty explaining to the agent my issue with ATR. ATR came out first for my larger A/C unit and two days later..... mysteriously....my smaller unit goes out! Not saying they caused it, but it was coincidental! So the tech came out and took like 10 min to make the correction. Or so I thought! Two days later....the until is not working. Called ATR and got out on hold for 45 min. Finally I hear a voice and to my surprise...it was another customer to schedule a trouble call. I can't make this stuff up!! If AHS assigns this company for any repairs.........take my advice and ask for another company!! They are the absolute worst!!!

ZERO STARS! No customer service what so ever!
Our home warranty company has been waiting for a report since Friday July 2, 2021 and it’s now July 7th and these people have not sent it! We have been calling and are given a run around full of excuses!
Our AC unit is out their tech lied saying he was on my property for an hour diagnosing, he’s on camera from the moment he arrived and left. He was here for no more than 20 minutes. I’ll be filling a complaint with our Attorney General and the BBB!

Do yourself a favor and RUN the other direction from this place. There are others in the same situation dealing with this horrible, unprofessional company.

ATR replaced my HVAC unit through coverage with AHS. The initial response was immediate, and the team of technicians that did the work were exceptional. However, the scheduling and billing and other admin done with the front office was horrible, as described in other posts. If there were a way to separate the techs from the office work, I'd take the techs, but there was substantial pain (me hounding the admin staff) to close out this work. All is well in the end, but I don't recommend ATR because of the admin staff. I requested to talk to a supervisor about this and was repeatedly promised a call back, but never received one.

Technician came out through my home warranty company to repair worn out duct work. Tech tried to sell me the work on the side, which I denied. Claim was submitted to my home warranty with false information and they denied the claim. When I spoke to the company they doubled down on the bad diagnosis and didn't care their employee tried to get business on the side. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!!! These people have cost me so much On July 17th I had ATR come out because I noticed the secondary drip line leaking water. The technician said he cleared the line and the AC unit was fine. I called ATR back out because I saw water leaking from my daughters ceiling two to three weeks later. ATR came out again and determined my drip pans were rusted out and not to run the AC till the pans came in which could be up to three weeks. At this point, my daughters ceiling has caved in, mold developed in the attic, had to take my house off the market and I’m out AC in the dead of summer. Three weeks later I get another call from the office manager telling me they have not ordered the drip pans because, “required by law” I had to have a safety valve installed and it would cost $700 dollars. When I asked for an outline of what would cost $700 dollars, they wouldn’t provide it. Mind you the warranty company is paying for the drip pans but doesn’t cover the safety valve. I was so frustrated that I demanded my home warranty company send another AC company out. Not only did I find out my drip pans were not rusted out because they’re plastic but that I could have been running the AC this entire time. It turned out when ATR came out originally to clear the drip line, they did not do a sufficient job. Furthermore, the technician replaced a pipe fitting on the drip line to help with water flow but didn’t glue the fitting together and it came apart causing additional water damage to my ceiling. I couldn’t live in my house for two weeks because of the mold caused by the water damage. The second AC company quoted me $150 dollars for a safety valve and installation and didn’t need new drip pans. To make matters worse, my insurance did not cover all the damages since it wasn’t caused by a natural disaster. Long story short, my house had to be taken off the market, my four-year-old daughter has been living in our room going on two months, and thousands of dollars later, multiple days off work my house is still not completed.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing good I can say about this company. After replacing a compressor in May 2020 the compressor continued to cycle on and off frequently (every 1 min or so) and degrade with a loud clunking sound starting around Sep-Oct 2020. In November 2020 after getting a technician from ATR to look at the compressor, we were informed there was nothing mechanically wrong with it though no checks for leaking refrigerant were performed at the unit outside nor at the handler in the attic . On a single warm day (24th DEC) when we turned on the AC, we video recorded our AC unit doing the same cycling of the compressor with the same loud clunking sound that literally our neighbor had complained about being so loud. On 17 March we had another ATR technician come out to check the system. He found the reason for the compressor cycling was that there was a leak in the evaporator coils in the attic unit something which had not been checked on 13 NOV. We were told they would order the new evaporator coil unit and should have it to us within a week. Then we learned this week through AHS that the part was not going to be ordered until we paid $933 to ATR for the refrigerant up front (oh by the way the present cost for 8 lbs of R-410 should be around $65 per pound installed). So due to a poor diagnosis in November when the whole system should have been checked, we're now the recipients of having to pay for the refrigerant up front before the part will even be ordered. Several calls and emails went unanswered this week and when we finally did get through to them, I felt the representative from ATR was curt, rude and unwilling to hear out the issue as being their faulty diagnosis in the first place back in November. Don't let AHS utilize this company for any of your HVAC services.

ATR was contracted to replace my broken garbage disposal through my AHS Contract. The initial installed disposal was not of the same quality or power of the broken one. AHS chose not to have integrity in their service contract and ignored addressing the problem, on such a small appliance. However, ATR chose to have integrity in their services and replaced the initial installed, with the same quality and power, as the broken disposal. I truly appreciate the integrity of this company and will used their services again.

My mother had them come to her house and the technician hard wired her heat so that it wouldn’t turn off. She called and called and no one answered. It is 90 degrees in her house and climbing. Donita use this company

Price was very competitive. They beat the lowest price I’d received by $200. However, afterward I had an issue with the work (minor) that needed to be cleared up. I called, emailed and texted them…every method they provided, and got no response. Fixed the issue myself.
