Our salesperson Ron was excellent . We got a great price and he was very professional and trustworthy.
The installer Brooklyn was great too. Start to finish they were an excellent company to do business with . I highly recommend them .

We hired Sears for a bathroom remodel, and the bathroom looks great for the most part, but the service from Sears headquarters was very disappointing. Everyone was nice, but it was such a hassle to get things done. For example, we needed our shower step redone because it wasn't sloping enough after they had finished, and it took almost 2 months for someone to come fix it. And the only reason they came at all is because I had to keep calling about it. When the bathroom was originally finished (before the step was redone), they had someone come check things, and I had told them then that the step needed to be redone, so they had known about it, but they didn't take any initiative to take care of it. This is frustrating because we were without a shower for 2 months.

I also have been dissatisfied because I feel like I was "sold" on something, especially when they had 2 salesmen come to our house. I only wanted an estimate because we were still in the budgeting process, but they talked about the life-time guarantee, which now I realize is a silly selling point, but it got me then. They also talked about a points system, which has also been hard to get, which would give us $2,000 worth of product through their website. Still working on getting that set up. I could have done some things differently, but I just feel like they oversold what they do, and for the price, we did not get what we paid for. I only hired Sears for half of the bathroom because they didn't have a lot of products and styles I wanted, and the guy I hired to do the rest was almost less than a 1/4 of the price! He also went above and beyond and did a way better job.

I'm never hiring a big company for a remodel again. Local contractors are the way to go. They will make sure the job is done right, because if they don't, their reputation is tainted, which hurts their business. Sears can do an ok job and get away with it. I love my new bathroom, but when I think of the experience, I just feel icky and regret using Sears.

Great experience working with the whole team from start to finish. The bathroom remodel looks absolutely amazing and I'm very pleased with the outcome. The guys certainly did go well above and beyond their job. I recommend Sears Home Improvement to anyone who needs something done. I appreciate it very much and thank you to the whole team.

Kitchen remodel - sales guys were great, as you'd expect. The general contractors for the cabinets and counter tops were excellent. Floor guys were not very reliable as far as timeliness and scheduling, but finished work was good. My main problem was with the project manager, Mike and his lack of communication overall. He doesn't always respond to messages and does not follow up as promised. I still have an unresolved problem that he has promised to find a solution, but have not heard from him in over a week. You have to make sure to stay on top of him to ensure everything gets done and you find out when installation is going to take place!

Communications from the installation office to schedule a roof replacement were almost non-existant. Calls to the office were disconnected 6 out of 7 calls. A dumpster for the old shingles suddenly appeared in our driveway without ANY warning. Fortunately, we were home at the time to get our cars out of the garage. The team that installed the new roof did an excellent job. They said 2 days and that is exactly what they needed to complete the job. They finished in the dark, so a number of nails and shingle pieces were left around the house exterior. Some repairs to the roof wood components were necessary, and not in the original estimate, but were completed satisfactorily before installing new shingles. Roof looks great.

I just purchased kitchen and bathroom countertops and the Sears experience was outstanding! I appreciated the great assortment of countertops and price points. The scheduling, tear out, and installation was timely and fast. Sear's service people are all professionally certified and trained so that was comforting to know since they were in my house. I will hire them again for my home improvement needs. I highly recommend them!

They're cordial and do satisfactory work near as i can tell, but you can rarely manage to speak with them or get them to show up; NEVER on-time.

I got bids on a home HVAC system from 3 different companies. Sears was least expensive by $2K so i selected them.

Their contact info goes to semi-anonymous voice mail. Spent 3 weeks with no AC in July, just trying to schedule an appointment for the install.

Finally they call on a Tuesday afternoon, say they'll be there tomorrow between 0800-1100. Took next day off work with no notice, contractor never showed up. Around 1400 they called and apologized and asked to reschedule for Friday between 0800-1100.

Took Friday off with 1 day notice. Contractor finally showed up around 1400, stayed until 1900, left system ripped out but unfinished. Said he'd be back next day around 1200 to finish. So far it's 1500 and i'm still waiting...

Update: contractor showed up 30 mins after I wrote this review and stayed until 2200 to finish the job. New AC unit works as expected, refrigerates the whole house nicely. I've no complaints about the product or the work done so I'll add a 3rd star back, but still frustrated by the number of unanswered calls, missed appointments and late arrivals it took to get everything done.

Sears was the most expensive by $1,000, but had a lot to offer with lifetime warranties and such, so we chose them. The worst part was the lack of communication. Our project started a week late, and nobody seemed to be able to call me back or explain what was happening. Ultimately the project is finished now, and does look good. Waiting to see how it holds up...

Charley and Dave came to my house and they were great. Everything else has been sub-par. Our furnace went out and my wife and I ordered a new one from Charley and Dave. It's 4/12/18 and we purchased the furnace a week ago. Not once has anyone contacted us about instalation. My wife and I have called several times and were told someone would be contacting us shortly. Nothing. I called this morning and was told they have tried contacting us multiple times. Our phones have no missed calls an no one has left a voicemail so i really doubt they have been calling us. We also have a 10-month old in our house. He gets to sleep with extra blankets and a space heater. At this point I am very dissatisfied with my experience. If it wasn't for Dave and Charley I would be giving a zero star rating.

We purchased windows from them. Love the Windows. BUT... We have a small problem with Rocky Mountain Power rebate program. I had to contact Sears. I called the number on the paper they had given me. That man was RUDE. So I e-mailed our Project Manager Jared Kitchen. That was hours ago..... NO RESPONSE. The moral of this story is: They don't care about you once you give the review after the windows are installed. AND they don't care about you once the job is done.....They got their money, that's all they want. NO FOLLOW UP CARE AT ALL. I will rate them 1 star, because I have to. Not a Happy Customer. After I post this here, I will be posting on a lot of other review boards. Pay the Extra, go somewhere else to get your windows.
