Called on short notice to have my furnaces checked out to prepare for a home inspection. They were able to schedule me in within the week. The cost was exactly as quoted with no gimmicks or parts that needed to be replaced. That was wonderful! I would recommend them to anyone.

Dan is a rock star in his own right. He diagnosed my 40 year old furnace as terminal and broke it to me gently. He went over everything very thoroughly with photos and clear explanations. He also called and asked if he could show up early, which worked in our favor. And he was good with my pesky dog. I wish there were more Dans in the world!

I have been with HVAC for years for maintenance but moved and needed a wall room air conditioner installed. Tony was informative and very helpful. The job was done quickly and professionally. Can't thank Tony and HVAC enough for a great experience!

Outstanding service. I was able to schedule an appointment so much faster than I thought (next day from afternoon call)! Tyson did a great job with diagnosing the problem with my fireplace and will be getting back to me with the repair date very quickly. Can't say enough good about HVAC Utah! This company came highly recommended from multiple sources. Tim was the first person we spoke with when we called to schedule a tech to come out and diagnose our system. Tim was friendly and helpful and within a minute after hanging up we received an email detailing the date and time of our service call. On the day of our appointment, another email arrived reminding us of the scheduled time and telling us who would be our technician. There was even a photo of the technician with a bio! When Jeremy aka. "Tiny" showed up, he asked some questions, listened intently, and then got to work. Last year we had a different company attempt to diagnose our system and the tech couldn't find the coil, couldn't get himself on the roof, and couldn't tell us anything more than what we already knew. In contrast, Jeremy astounded with his skill and smarts, quickly identifying the location of our coil, climbing to the roof and assessing our condenser and then reporting back all the details of his assessment. He educated us on the actions we could take and the consequences we should expect depending on our choice. We opted to get a new HVAC system and were put in touch with Tony, the salesman. Tony dealt with our project with the same knowledge and professionalism that Jeremy did, expertly navigating a barrage of questions and presenting a bid with options sufficient to meet our needs. He made sure to honestly educate on the pros and cons of the various options proposed so we could make informed decisions.
On the day of installation, the crew showed up on time (just as the handy emails had informed us) and immediately set to covering our hardwood floors with drop cloths. They carefully and quickly removed our ancient system and then spent hours crawling around in our sweltering insulation-filled attic, installing the new. Their attitude, language and behavior remained positive, professional and upbeat throughout the installation process, even when they were hot and tired and covered in itchy insulation. Jesse, the install manager on our job, was fantastic not only in the way he worked with us as the client, but as he worked with his team. He taught us how to use our new thermostat, willingly answered questions, and briefed us on the progress and install plan each day of our 2 1/2 day installation. There was a small mix-up on a piece of the air conditioner to which they alerted us and then resolved quickly and effectively with the correct parts. As they cleaned up after themselves, having finished our project ahead of schedule, we were impressed to see members of the crew mopping our (unscathed) hardwood floor, dusting cabinets and desks, and a guy on his hands and knees wiping dust from our baseboards! Talk about taking ownership of your craft and caring about your customer! They left only after testing both the heater and air conditioner and making sure everything was done to our 100% satisfaction.

HVAC Utah understands and practices excellent customer service. They were willing to step in and replace a faulty thermostat installed by another local company who told us they were too busy to do the work. HVAC Utah contacted the manufacturer to verify the warranty, called around to find a distributor and completed the repair for us within just a few days of our call. They were prompt, efficient and professional and we highly recommend this company to anyone needing an HVAC contractor.

We were helping a friend rent their house which needed vent cleaning done badly and we were so pleased with the Vent Cleaning services we received through HVAC Utah.

We got quotes from 4 other vent cleaning services, many we found on 'Hometown Value' magazine. Initially the others seemed so much cheaper than the flat-fee from HVAC Utah but don't be fooled by the other companies that try to lure you in with their "$7 per vent" cleaning service. Those are just for the small room vents. They don't mention they charge $89 additional for each main, supply and return vents. Then charge for everything you can imagine! They were first to arrive but their quote immediately went past the $600 figure after identifying several major problems they said needed to be resolved. That's not even it, the TOTAL PACKAGE service they recommended came up to over $1,600! We politely decline their services and went with HVAC Utah.

It was so nice to see folks who take great pride in what they do and Yannik was certainly an example of that. He was very thorough and since my husband talks a lot and asks a lot of questions, Yannik enjoyed explaining everything to him which probably took longer than normal for him to accomplish the task because of it. It is evident these guys have outstanding work ethics and do not mind working longer. They believe in doing the job right the first time and more importantly refuse to take short-cuts.

Kudos to the team at HVAC Utah. This is the second time we utilized their services and will certainly call them for all our HVAC related services in the future.

Tim and the guys at HVAC Utah are amazing. I don't typically post reviews but these guys definitely deserve a positive 5 star review. fair price, on time, followed up etc. in this world of shady contractors it is nice to find a honest and fair company to work with. Highly recommend these guys!!
