Kaiden and Bret installed 2 new Rheem systems in our house with excellent attention to detail. Before this install, they fixed our furnace with just what was needed. Another vendor showed up and tried upselling when all we wanted was the furnace to give us heat. Larsen is not motivated to appease investors like these other dishonest people. Larsen was so responsive, knowledgeable and professional. Their price for this repair was for the part needed only so we could get heat…No pressure for replacing the system.

We decided our 30-year old system should be changed with Larsen and couldn’t be happier!.

These guys are amazing! They came within two hours and had my a/c cold within 30 minutes even though it is ancient AND they did it for a deal beyond cheap. They were kind and efficient, they gave me tons of info for the future on what to do when my a/c goes out again, and had a hot menopausal woman crying tears of joy in a utah summer for once! First time I used Larsen. Very professional, incredibly knowledgeable about the subject and very good at explaining in lame terms, what the problem was. They had a chance to charge for a whole new A/C compressor and I wouldn’t know any better. Instead, he explained to me what I needed to fix to get the system up and running and then a second option to optimize and increase the lifecycle of my system.

Would no go back to any other company anytime soon. Not because others are not good, but simply because Larsen was better. It’s the old saying, good - better - best and they fit into the best category in my book.

Needing a new furnace and air conditioner my first priority was to find a smaller, locally owned HVAC contractor. I had some concerns with calling one of the huge national conglomerate companies that owns many smaller shops. Just on the thought of seeing their full page newspaper ads made me nervous. Somebody has to pay for those ads and I assume that it is the customer. I have even heard that some of those big national companies pay their technicians a bonus when they up-sell the customer. I had never heard of Larsen Heating before and they were the first call I made. Their estimator arrived on time and offered me a selection of different options along with his advice on choosing one. We agreed and the installation was scheduled in just a few days. The two technicians that arrived to install were efficient and pleasant to have in our home. The entire process was completed in one day and I felt that I was treated honestly. We have total satisfaction with Larsen Heating and their employees.

Couldn't be happier with the service we received. After another company (Absolute Heating & Air) came in very pushy and claimed we needed a replacement system for $7k, we brought Larsen in for a second opinion. They ended up repairing our issue for $180. Would absolutely recommend and will be using them for all our HVAC issues moving forward.

Larsen was great! We shopped at 4 places and felt pushed and pulled by everyone except Larsen. The first price was better than any other (even after they would call us and claim to give us a bigger discount). They were friendly and helpful and not pushy sales people. We got a new Furnace and AC by Carrier and they didn't have the 14 seer AC in stock so they upgraded us to a 16.5 seer for FREE! We were very satisfied.

Brett is amazing. We had him come check our AC to make sure everything was working correctly. He was in and out in record time and did a great job. He also helped me change the filter and showed me the best kind to buy. Which cost less than the ones I was buying. I would definitely recommend Larsen Heating and Air!!

After having one of those “anytime, we come now“ places show up and tell us our furnace was beyond repair we decided to call Larsen and boy are we glad we did.
Turns out a simple vacuum hose had come loose and the whole thing was repaired in a matter of minutes. Instead of paying $14,000 for a new system, we ended up paying for just a service call.
Thanks Larsen for not trying to oversell us.

My home A/C was having issues cooling the house temperature below 80 degrees. I decided to call Larsen Heating and Air because of their positive reviews online. They were friendly over the phone and were able to get me scheduled the next day. The technician showed up on time and was very nice. However, I was less then pleased with the work provided.

I explained the issue we were having and he went straight to work. Within a few minutes he told me the capacitor needed to be replaced and that it would cost $255. Of course I agreed to change the part. Then he said that I could use a more Freon in the system. The cost of Freon R22 was $336 for a pound. He ended up only needing to put 12.5oz of Freon in the system, but of course, still charged me for a pound. He then cleaned some dust off the coils of our inside AC unit. He turned the machine on and it seem like it was working better than before. I paid the $600 and he was gone.

Just a few hours later, the A/C was blowing hot air. It was actually working worse than before, instead of cooling the house to 80 and no lower, it now wouldn’t get below 87! So my wife and I decided to call them back the next day. They were able to squeeze us into their schedule quickly. The technician said we were completely out of freon in the system because of a bad leak. He recommended we get a new AC installed and that it would cost $3400.

Now my A/C is original to the house and next year it will be 20 years old. I was totally expecting to be told that I needed a new A/C. My frustration comes from the fact that the first technician did not do a full diagnostic of the system or even offer to check for a leak. It was also frustrating being charged for a whole pound of Freon when the system only needed 12.5oz in it. And lastly, but perhaps the thing I am MOST frustrated about, is that I truly believe they made our leak worse than it was before. For two weeks our AC wouldn’t get below 80, but would at least stay at 80, which shows that this was clearly a slow leak. When they “fixed my AC”, only a few hours later it was completely out of Freon.

So for now I am out an A/C with my wife and one year old daughter at home. I will be looking at other options when it comes to buying and installing a new unit.

All in all great customer service over the phone, scheduling, and they showed up on time. But I am absolutely not happy with the service and work provided by the technician. I believe they made the problem worse. We paid $600 but ultimately need a new unit. Definitely would not recommend this company to another person.
