We had our Chill Brothers hvac installed in March of this year. Everyone was so great to work with, but my favorite was Jonan. He has an amazing attitude, he is thorough, timely, and professional. We had to contact them again after the most recent storm caused our unit to need a reset. He quickly found the issues and was able to get the A/C blowing again. He was also able to give me more insight on other things related to the unit. He is a great asset to Chill Brothers!

Bought a Lenox. The process of getting it installed I thought was gonna be redundant but it was worth it being done. Talk with the salesman that came to my home, bought it. Then had a person from chill brothers come to make sure it was the correct unit I was buying for my home, next day installers came and was done in about 6 hours, week later another guy from chill brothers came and checked on the work of the install and made duct adjustments. Whatever he did it made the air feel even better. Nice job.

Aggressively knocking on doors in our community despite no soliciting. Claims people have a rebate on their recently installed AC unit. Refuses to use video doorbells and changes his story when it is pointed out he's lying.

Original review: I have 2 systems, one for Upstairs one for downstairs. I spoke to the Chill Bros sales rep on 10/15 about replacing the upstairs system, but the downstairs system was ultimately, mistakenly replaced on 10/19/221. I attempted to speak to someone about the issue and hopefully find some resolution. I had high hopes that I would be contacted back and a resolution of some sort would be found. I had seen how the owner of Chill bros seemed to respond to all reviews and comments (both negative and positive) which was very comforting. But after a little more than a month and calling for the 5th time yesterday (11/28) and being told yet again I would be contacted by Andrew, I am feeling defeated.
To have taken steps to make a smart choice financially and environmentally, just to be left with an extra bill and a HVAC system that is still using freon that is harmful to the ozone layer (and my bank account) due to the apparent miscommunication on the part of the people who were the experts in this scenario is very disheartening, to say the least. I definitely WON’T be looking to Chill Bro to replace my next HVAC system as I had initially planned.
It was a major mistake to trust the sales rep when she said the HVAC system in my attic was the one that needed to be replaced to accomplish what I wanted ( which was to get a more efficient system for my upstairs area and replace the outside unit that was in my backyard) and now I still have an inefficient system and outdoor unit that runs constantly during the summer months plus an extra bill to boot...
PROS: fast service, quick turnaround time from agreement to installation. Install crew installed, cleaned up, and packed up without causing me any disturbance while I worked from home.
CONS: Unreliable. Unresponsive to problems.
EDIT/Update 11/29/22 @ 9:47pm: 1. I have NOT received any emails to my email account. 2. My husband and I specifically discussed with Tusch that we wanted to replace the upstairs HVAC system. We also told her that from what we had gathered from our time in our home (just over 1 year at the time of her visit) the upstairs HVAC in the closet is the one that controlled the airflow to the second floor. Tusch looked at both systems and went into our attic and TOLD US that the gas one was the one that controlled the second floor air flow. When the technician came to my home for the preinstall he DID NOT speak to me about whether I wanted the gas system or electric replaced (and if he had I would have said the gas one relying on TUSCH's expertise)! Through all of this the one thing we were VERY specific about was we needed the second floor to get cool enough for the 3 ton unit that was outside in OUR BACK YARD to actually turn off instead of always running! With this information ALONE someone should have realized something was WRONG as the unit you all ultimately replaced was a 4 TON unit and it was NOT in my back yard! I have accepted that as a homeowner I made a HUGE MISTAKE trusting anyone other than myself to tell me something about my home... expert or not. This homeowner status is new to me and I am learning a lot along the way. Thanks for a hard lesson learned. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as you have come onto this review and lied. Not only about what I did/said but also about what you have done as you have not sent an email to me at all. Also I STILL have not received a call back. It took this review to get my issue at least addressed though still unresolved.
EDIT/UPDATE 12/1/2022 @11:49AM- I received a call from Andrew, the CEO of the company, to address my experience. A resolution was found. He had sent emails that went to my spam. And the company did install a 4 ton b/c they did realize the unit being replaced was a 4 ton despite the quote being for a 3 ton. When it is all said and done I am now pleased to continue to work with the Chill Brothers if they continue with this level of customer service and integrity.

Jonan showed up right on time. I told him what I knew about the problem and then he went up to the attic and quickly diagnosed what was wrong. Fortunately, it was just a dirty flame sensor that he cleaned at no additional charge. I paid only a small and very reasonable charge for the visit.
