Cold Factor Heating & Air Services Lewisville

My AC went out in the wee hours of the morning. I called Cold Factor before 8AM. Jessica took my call and put me on the schedule. She told me my tech would be here between 3 and 4. He arrived at 3:30, was very pleasant and professional, repaired the initial problem and suggested parts replacement so it doesn't happen again. I took his suggestion and he fully completed the service in about 2 hrs. The unit is now working great. So happy I called Cold Factor.

My unit stopped working around 6PM today. I called Cold Factor and it was back up and running before 8PM. These guys are so busy this time of year, but you have their undivided attention when they are servicing your unit.

Very expensive. A very small ac unit that cools one room upstairs $500, Highway Robbery. On top of that they said they would not warranty their work. Bad business taking advantage of those in need. Just add it up 8 techs hit 10 houses a day at $500 per house's, that's $40,000 a day.

Cold Factor Heating & Air Services has been our go-to for our heat and AC units for the past few years. They have always provided outstanding service and have been honest and reliable. I have always felt their prices have been fair and we are committed customers! Jessica is always so helpful and friendly, too. We couldn't recommend them more!

So service was outstanding, they were at my house within an hour of calling them on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. (Although it cost an extra $150) The tech was friendly and did timely work. The reason I’m deducting stars and feeling ripped off is the price they charged for the parts. My unit required a new capacitor. They charged $239 for just the part. Later after doing some research that I should have done earlier I found the exact part selling for $29.99 he also talked me into installing a float switch in the pan upstairs. This part was $95 which I again found they actually cost $15-20

So if you don’t care about how much you pay I’d highly recommend their service because I feel like they do good work. However plan to pay way above market average for parts.

Bobby came out to install a new thermostat in our master bedroom after the touchscreen failed on the old. He explained the old unit had a known malfunction and quickly installed the new and had the unit working quickly. He went on to explain the business and provided further details about my two units. Needless to say, I was impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail. It was a no-brainer to sign up for a maintenance package after his performance. Today Bobby returned for maintenance and did another outstanding job and answered all my questions. I will gladly recommend Cold Factor for all your HVAC needs.

Aaron came out to our house because our unit was not blowing cold air. He was right on time and very friendly. He took a look at the unit and quickly found the problem and presented the solution and price. Aaron and Cory were able to fix it quickly. In under an hour our house was cooled back down and the unit was working properly. We added the maintenance plan and look forward to having them out again to service our unit in the fall! Great service and great people.

Had a clogged condensate line. Tech went and cleared the line. Next day a ceiling tile was damaged so tech went back out and cleared it again. Then water kept appearing and it made so sense. Jessica was a delight. She also agreed it made so sense. She sent the Boss out to investigate. Discovered there was also a hot water heater problem. Jessica understood the situation and was willing to do whatever it took to resolve the issue. All the time she was extremely pleasant to talk and deal with. Would highly recommend Cold Factor. Cory is the best! He installed a mini-split for us on our back patio and we couldn’t be happier. Very knowledgeable, fair & honest, and pays attention to the details. All around, he did a fabulous job and was great to work with — we’ll have him out again for any of our future heating & cooling needs.

As a new customer, I’m so glad I made a great choice with Cold Factor. From the minute Jessica picked up the phone I knew I made the right decision. Reached out to cold factor heating & air for a second opinion of our HVAC system. Jessica did a great job walking me through my HVAC and basic troubleshooting. She then helped me schedule an appointment to have Cory come out and take a look. He did a great job explaining the current condition of my HVAC system and even charged less because it was just an overview/recommendation. I'm so glad I contacted them to clear up the all of the concerns from the first evaluation that was more focused on a pressure sale.
