We had Cool Atmosphere install our new system a few years back and have used them for our annual system check ups ever since. We had Jacob come check out our system and he was very professional and courteous. All of their techs that have come have all been awesome. We recommend Cool Atmosphere for anyone that needs service.

This was one of the worst AC experiences we’ve ever had after just moving in.

It was a cool day when we scheduled an AC check and tune up for the season and was told by the tech that showed up - he would not check Freon levels as we would lose a bit in the process. The tech said our system was fine, everything looked good, and just needed a startup capacitor for $400.

The very next day when it was warmer, the system couldn’t keep up cooling our small home. We called and requested a different tech come back - The owner came and checked our system and again wouldn’t check Freon. Same reason. We asked him to regardless of losing a bit and we were actually multiple pounds low.

Additionally, we had to ask him multiple times him to go into the attic and physically re-check the system (after being assured if it’s “cooling fine, it’s working fine. It’s just a hot day”). Upon looking at the system we had rusted coils, pan, etc.

Talking to them about getting a brand new system was a joke as well. The quotes were for the cheapest systems made, questionable warranty coverage through 3rd parties, and their crazy pricing was the same as higher end systems from brands like Lennox/Carrier etc.

Plenty of other great local AC companies around the Austin area with amazing technicians that do quality work - including complete system replacements. Stay away from Cool Atmosphere.

Our a/c stopped blowing cold air on Sunday. I emailed Cool Atmosphere in the afternoon and I got a response within the hour. They sent Thomas on Monday around noon which was well within the window they estimated. Thanks for quick and friendly service once again!! Y'all are still great and I'll continue to recommend you 10 out of 10 times.
