This store took me back to the days of the general store when no one was 'afraid to offend' by offering to help a gal load heavy items in her car on a hot summer day. Back story- it started with an email. My HOA is specific on stain color so I searched and found it at this Ace location close to work. I sent an email to confirm they had it then received email confirmation within minutes. I picked up a 5 gallon bucket of stain and applicable items. Everyone was so helpful and they guided me to what I needed. Then- no questions asked- one gentleman grabbed the bucket the other grabbed the bag I followed their lead and led them to my car. What gentlemen! I grew up in New Braunfels and Hennes Hardware was the place to go then. I'd go with my family from time to time and this just reminded me of those days as a child. Thank you for the trip back in time. I'll be doing more shopping here. We have to keep these great places in existence!
