Michael came to the rescue to get my air up and running just in time before my son graduation party. I have been fighting with the warranty company since Wednesday. One Happy Customer and will definitely refer and use them again.
The initial contact was positive and good. The serviceman was kind but it took 4 hours to determine the cause of my ac not cooling properly.. The serviceman was saying it had a few issues but wouldn’t check the Freon levels. When I asked him to check the levels he refused. He had to call his supervisor and manager around 25 times. He couldn’t put Freon in until he got his bosses approval. After going back and forward for an hour they told him to abandon the job. I told him after he put the Freon in he could finish the 4 hour inspection. He started packing up so I then asked if you had put Freon into the AC would the air blow cold air he answered Yes!!! Here is the latest information regarding Your Air Conditioning Company. First of all we have been using this company for over 4 years. They put in a new furnace and some other products as well. We call them on on Thursday 4 days ago. The only thing wrong with the ac was it was not cooling properly. When the serviceman left after he stated he put everything back together the way it was before he started working on it. So I walk inside the house to adjust the temperature on the thermostat well it was blank. So I called the office and asked for him to come back and fixed the issue. They said they would call the serviceman to get him back out, to no avail. So we began calling them 3-4 times a day but the answering machine would pick up. Today is now Monday and we are without air because nothing works. The thermostat, furnace, or the fan on the ac.They never returned our calls all weekend and they were open! They finally called but refused to put it back into working condition like before just because I wanted some Freon put in the system. Like I stated before I have used them for years but there is no professionalism or regard for human kindness. I have a 1 year old baby in the house but they don’t care. Do The Right Thing the first time and then everyone will be happy. Unfortunately not in this case.
Had Michael just hear for a home warranty check. Our systems were working ok but had overflow drain line leaking so wanted someone to take a look before something serious happened. Michael was very professional and precise in his check and checked out everything, even in this overwhelming heat outside and in the attic. He was here for over an hour making sure everything was good and for any issues for the leak. He double checked everything, found the issue in our connections and reinstalled it. Hopefully this will take care of the leak and we won’t have to worry about any issues through this heat.
We had an A/C installed. Michael & Eddie was courteous, knowledgeable of their craft, & very professional. They did what they said they were going to do and was on time. I salute the company as a whole and definitely these 2 gentlemen.
Worked for this company for six months. Owner has racist policies regarding Black Hair Styles. They don’t pay people what they’re supposed to. They have different “clock in” procedure for people of color. All the service can have a check engine light. They purposefully LOOK FOR PROBLEMS to fix. That’s part of their 22 point inspection. They will literally break something in order to fix it. They think customers lie mainly bc they’re liars and so of course makes sense to expect everyone else to be deceptive. They cancel appointments all the time because they can’t keep technicians bc Joe pays them $15/hr and then docs every minute possible. We had a tech bring in over 10k revenue in a week and they shorted him is hourly check and didn’t give him commission earned. Everyone who leaves has to fight for a paycheck. This is one of the worst companies in all of Houston! Never EVER EVER do business with them
All them! Will hook you up! They also have HVAC trade school classes. Building out new training facility at new location, as we speak! Learn from the best!!
I’m usually not one to leave a review, but my experience with Your Air Conditioning Company has been less than I’d have liked over time, enough to leave this one. Many years ago, maybe around 2014-2015, Your Air assumed the customer base for a defunct company, Pleasant Valley Air. PV had replaced the entire HVAC in my house in 2012. Your Air continued to honor a service warranty I had with PV for a couple of years until the owner, “Joe” (last name ????) discontinued this. I continued with 2x / year maintenance checks, and almost each one having a solicitation or recommendation for service or repair, often not needed.
Most recently, I had a seasonal maintenance visit, from which several services were suggested - including and notably, main drain line flushing (a typical service, and clearly necessary since the secondary/overflow was dripping), and another service which I declined. A total estimate was provided and agreed to, the work performed, and paid for. Over the next 3 days, I could see the secondary drain line still draining, so I called to report this. A tech came to the house and ascertained that the main drain HAD NOT been purged, and then he did it himself with me observing. All good until he presented me with a service call invoice. On questioning this with Your Air on the phone, I was told this was for the tech’s time. Since I had paid in full for this work already, I challenged this. A call to “Joe” resulted in dismissing this charge, but I was stunned at the unwillingness to stand by their work just performed and to somehow justify an additional payment for work purportedly done and paid for 3 days prior.
FINALLY, I received 3 phone calls this week from someone at Your Air canvassing for customers, to offer me a special price on the seasonal system check-out I just had. I politely told her that she perhaps might have known before calling, that me as an existing customer just had this service performed. Moments later, perhaps not realizing, she called me again, which I pointed out. Rather than apologizing or making the moment less awkward, she simply hung up on me. Then, I got another call a day later from the same person soliciting me for the additional service beyond the seasonal check, I had previously declined. Again, no acknowledgement of the previous calls. I asked her to please not call me again. She hung on me again.
I called the main office to speak to “Joe” about all of this. The best I got was to leave a message for him to call me back.
So, with all of that, I am DISSATISFIED and would not recommend this company for their residential HVAC service needs. Often, questionable at times in work quality and customer service. They get 1 star for my willingness to hope for better over time. Now, I’m a former customer.
