I can't say enough great things about RLC. This was my second experience with you. We requested First American send you to us again. And it all started with Chris. Yes, we requested that he be our first contact as before. He was a straight shooter. Analyzed the problem immediately and when I asked, thought it would be better to replace the entire condensing unit that was 25 years old. When I asked if Lupe and his associate could be our installer again, you said no problem. And once again, they did a great job
RLC was sent by my home warranty company. In the past every experience I had with claims was a nightmare. This time RLC was the assigned contractor, they called and came out the next day. Both guys were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Had the problem diagnosed and fixed in an hour. Even had parts on their truck. I would definitely use them again.
Had an emergency with our AC and another contractor had scheduled with us then canceled right before coming out. Ugh! The home warranty service contacted RLC and they were able to come out the same day. Rudy was prompt and professional and diagnosed and repaired our unit with ease...thank God! Would use them again based on this positive experience.
Reported to our home warranty company on Thur morning that our air condition/heater air blower wouldn't come on. Surprisingly, within a couple hours they assigned it to an AC company, RLC Services, and within another couple hours RLC scheduled us for 10 AM to 1 PM the next morning. The RLC tech, Juan, called us the next morning at 9:30 AM that he was on the way. Arrived 10 AM and within 30 minutes he'd identified and replaced a blown motherboard. We've had to make many AC calls over the years, never had one that was so easy to schedule and actually kept that schedule, and then quickly repaired the problem without trying to up-sell. Juan was friendly, quick, knowledgeable, and cleaned up what little mess he'd made. Would do business with RLC again in a hearbeat.
They were scheduled through my home warranty company. RLC called me to schedule a visit between 1-4. Of course I take off work to wait around all day. At 3:30 they call to tell me they're running late, 'maybe a couple hours'. At 5:30 I call them to ask if they have an ETA, and they tell me they have no idea. They ask if I want to reschedule for the next day, but I tell them I can't because I can't miss more work. "No problem," they say. "He'll just be there later." Of course, I wait around longer and they never show up. No calls to reschedule, no apologies.
Based on other reviews I've read, it sounds like I'm not the first to have this problem - maybe they just make so little money off the home warranty jobs that they just save them for last. I don't know. For me it was a complete miss, and I will specifically ask to not use this vendor in the future. I understand that emergencies happen and could forgive having to reschedule, but the lack of communication is unacceptable.
I was paired with RLC services through my home warranty, Landmark. Now, in the past, Landmark has sent out some not so great folks for other things, but not the case at all this time! RLC's ladies answering the phone in the office are professional and always sent me updates about my appointments through the dispatch service.(I needed two to fully solve the problem) Their technicians arrived with time to spare in their window(they give three hour windows), and called or texted each time to let me know they were on their way. But definitely the reason they're getting a full five stars from me today is because of the technician that came to my house yesterday, Chris B. Chris is the kindest, most professional, and patient home professional I have ever had the pleasure of inviting into my home. He listened to every concern I had with genuine care, explained everything to me as he was doing it, and most importantly, my AC is running at 100% capacity! I am COOL AND COMFY in this brutal July Houston heat. Great experience with RLC Services and Chris.
Like many others here, my home warranty service contracted with RLC Services for my a/c repair. Aug 27th was the initial service call: compressor had failed.
Aug. 31st, I provide clearance with the home warranty company and agree to supplemental costs.
Sept. 9th, I call RLC for an update; am told there is no set ETA but that they'll contact the part mfg and get back to me.
Sept. 14th, I call RLC again; get put on hold; then told that everything is all clear and that my service appointment is set. I ask when they got the compressor in and am eventually informed that the order for the part occurred ON SEPTEMBER 9TH.
So, for whatever reason, I got hung out to bake in a Houston summer for NEARLY 3 WEEKS, and it appears the part wasn't ordered until I finally called to check in with them about status (which also speaks to why I never got a call back from my Sept. 9th inquiry).
Both the initial service tech and the guys that performed the install work were proficient though.
Juan arrived at 9:45 this morning, diagnosed and fixed the problem ( bad capacitor), prepared a receipt, and was gone in less than 30 minutes! I’ve never experienced anything like this before. Great job, Juan!
Very unorganized!!! Had to reschedule over and over because some how my confirmed appointment was never the day and time they confirmed smh. Every day of my appointment was always a no show and when I called, they would tell me the appointment is for another day that was never communicated or agreed upon.

They were sent by Home Warranty company for our Fall HVAC Tune-Up. The tech was professional, polite and on-time.
