I had them through Home Warranty of America. They were pretty fast on their end. I never had to harangue them or call them over & over again (like I did the home warranty). Once the warranty sent them the purchasing order, from then they texted on the same day and scheduled the service for 3 days after. This was not a problem as we had already waited 3.5 weeks to have our A/C repaired.

I am not sure what their prices are compared to other A/C companies.

Rudy was very thorough in making sure our HVAC unit was prepped and ready for the summer heat. He ensured all components and pressure was operational and even cleaned out the debris and leaves from the fan area. Thank you for your attentiveness sir.

This has been the the most incompetent company I've dealt with for my A/C. The service they provided was through my warranty so unfortunately I was stuck with them. RLC has been to my home 7 times and 4 of them were to replace the same part that kept going out! I never saw them troubleshoot further than the furnace area, all they did was swap parts out. I been without A/C for almost 6 weeks because of these people. I am almost sure the technicians they have working for them are not REAL techs or certified, more like people who learned "on the job". Anyone can replace a part. Avoid this company at all COST!

We were referred to RLC through our home warranty. Juan came out on time, diagnosed a short in the system in the attic that was causing our A/C to trip the breaker, and repaired the problem quickly. He was very professional. It took no more than 24 hours for the company to respond to the service request and get our A/C cooling again. Everyone we spoke to on the phone was polite and helpful.

I should’ve written this years ago. RLC replaced my first unit in 2013 and my second in 2014. I have had outages with both ever since. When they did my second, they forgot to put in the float switch and flooded part of my house causing damage. In 2017, they left me with no AC over a week including 4th of July and ignored my emails. I’m now having to gut all of the work they did on one unit as it’s rusted inside and a fire hazard. The electrical isn’t up to code. Stay away from these guys!

RLC Services' customer service was fantastic. Every time I called them they were timely, friendly, and helpful (especially when working with my home warranty company). The customer portal for tracking my service request online was the best I've seen and used. The technicians were on time, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient!

This company gave us ABOVE 5☆ service!! My client (I'm a realtor) and I were fighting with the warranty company abt her AC repair. They sent out RLC.

Once they got the call, they were on it! They came out, diagnose the problem, and submitted the paperwork to the warranty company the same day. The warranty company ordered the wrong part (which costed us a day in Texas heat), so to prevent any more hiccups, RLC went above and beyond to ensure everything else went smoothly. They prioritize my client's appointment because of the warranty company's mistake and she had air the same day the part came in! She was finally able to Netflix and chill... Lol

I cannot discount what others have experienced in their reviews, but I can say this. I believe RLC used those as opportunities improve their customer satisfaction.

I HIGHLY recommend you to try them. They are affordable, knowledgeable, professional, and kind.

RLC SERVICES. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!
I just got off the phone with a member of their staff whom didn't care too much about speeding up our process on repairing our AC in the heat of Houston in July. I'm sure he's not having this kind of issue at his house.
After telling him I would call my Home Protection provider to try to replace them, he happily welcomed me to go ahead and do it like if I was just a number. Didn't show any sympathy or care. Nothing but blaming it in the part provider company or the shipping. It is easy for them to just do that. Wrong!!!

Have been waiting a month for them to come back and replace a part that is under warranty and needs replaced. A part that they installed. It's August and hot and no-one will even answer the phone. The AC parts warranty expires next week and I'm sure that's what they are waiting for so they can bill us for even more money. This is the worst experience I've ever had with any kind of maintenance company. How did they get so many positive reviews???? This is beyond unethical for an AC service provider in south Texas that "would replace the part that's under warranty" that they installed. One Month!!

Company is COMPLETE trash with poor communication. They only get business because home warranty companies want to save money so they force home owners to use them. They will argue with you and leave you stranded for days or weeks without AC. I tried to schedule appt with them on 5 different occasions and they never showed up. You are a fool to use them.
