Air Tech of Houston AC & Plumbing

Our AC stopped working in the middle of the night during a dangerous heat wave. We called the 24 hour phone number for Air Tech of Houston and they sent us a technician in the morning. They text you a link to track the technician too, which gives some peace of mind while you wait. Jose J. came out and fixed our AC quickly and was very helpful and informative. He also came two hours sooner than the original projected timing, which was great because the heat index was over 110 degrees. He did all of this on Father's day no less. Great experience and highly recommend this company for AC repair.

Called them out to help address a vent condensation leak (~1TBS a day), and the only solution they provided was to tighten the duct damper, which left very little airflow coming out of the vent. This wouldn't work for us as it's the only vent for a very large area of the house, and this leak hasn't been an issue before, until now. Disappointed this was the only option and we'll have to find another company to further assess this issue.

$400 for a R410a Freon adjustment, regardless of whether it's 1 or 2lbs was surprising

Called in the morning about an AC unit not working very well. Corey came out within 2-3 hours and performed a detailed inspection, finding no coolant and a leaking coil. Corey explained all of my options and answered all my questions clearly. I decided to replace that unit, including the furnace. He also checked with his base office to ensure the new unit size would be appropriate for the space to be conditioned and also recommended adding a damper to the system for future air flow adjustment. He then set up the install for the same day. A large installation team showed up a few hours later and completed the replacement and check out in an efficient and professional manner. After 1 week, the system is working very well. Very happy with the new unit and Air Tech support.

This man went above and beyond to walk me through and educate me on the repair. He also wrote on my ac panel what repairs he did so future techs will know. Bottom line this man gave great customer service. I will use air tech because of him. God bless you Sir

Travis was here to give a quote. He explained everything in detail went through all items line by line. He also informed me of our external gas line needing to be up to code and recommended to be replaced. He give us options on other plumbing needs he addressed. All in all he was very professional but made it easy and comfortable to ask questions. He was great I wish I had the money to do all that he recommended on the list! I would so happy! At the moment we are facing a huge medical cancer issue with my husband. I hope to ádrese each of these concerns later in the year. Please continue to keep such good people like Travis he was not only a nice person but patient with all of my questions.
