I have used Texas Discount Air a couple times now and they do not disappoint. Friendly, fair, and explains everything thouroughly. No unnecessary work just to get quick business, and they now have a customer for life. Highly recommended and have been telling everyone I know to use them as well.

I called Texas Discount Air in 2019 and was very pleased with the service! They discovered my condenser fan motor was bad and replaced it at a great rate! The bill was FAR below anywhere else I called! My AC went out again last night(June 2020) so we scheduled another appointment. Our tech last year warned us that our 12 year old unit only has a life expectancy of 7 years and may go out any time. I was fully preparing for this visit to be the one bearing the news that we would need to replace the whole unit! This company had every opportunity to swindle us and I would have never blinked an eye but they did the exact opposite! They came and looked at our unit and discovered the condenser they replaced for us last year was faulty but was still under warranty! Next thing I know, the AC is fixed and they are driving away. Amen for Texas Discount Air & the honesty/integrity they instill in their employees!

Todd arrived on time and identified the problem almost immediately. Not only that, he told us that it was a simple fix that we could do ourselves. We were able to fix the issue for less than $20! I feel like most other companies would've given us the run around. I really appreciate Todd's help and honesty. It is inevitable that we will need work done on our aging system in the future. We will definitely be using their services in the future.

I want to start out by saying WOW. I’ve been a fulltime Realtor for over 11 years so I have worked with a number a HV-AC guys. Texas Discount Air was amazing. My AC stopped working around 3 am and I could not sleep so I Googled who to call. I called his number around 4:30 am and he sent me a text saying he could be out at 9 am. He showed up at 9 am on time!! One look at my AC and he said it’s shot and went over my options. He did not even charge me a trip charge and gave me the number to some people that could do this very specific costly repair.
As we were walking to his car I asked him, “if I just replace everything for a little more how soon could it be working.” He told me we could have it installed and cooling by 8 pm that day. Well they had it working by 7 pm that day. His price was very reasonable. Todd and the installer Jared were extremely nice, polite, and professional. I look forward to sending them business in years to come.

My blower motor went out on my furnace yesterday and I called Todd and he was here within a couple of hour's and the next morning he fixed it in a hour. I highly recommend Todd. It was New Year's Eve and most companies were closed, then New Year's Day he was here bright and early. Thank you Todd.

Todd from Texas Discount Air is my hero. Our heater quit lighting, and nothing we did would fix the problem. I called a few contractors and they were pushing me to replace the entire furnace. With a seriously ill husband and daughter and no income, this was just not possible. Then Todd came to look at the furnace. He showed me what the likely cause was - a very simple fix - and walked me through everything I needed to know in order to fix the heater myself. I have not words enough nor time to express how huge this was. What a blessing! What an honest, kind man! I will never again call on any other contractor for our heating and cooling needs.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Todd Hoffman at Texas Discount Air (682-214-HVAC). The start of the summer with temps climbing into the 90's, had our upstairs A.C. unit giving us fits. We had a contract with Comfort Experts and had them come in and quote a price for repair and an entire system replacement cost. Needless to say, they gave an exorbitant amount to replace the coil, and an unearthly amount to swap out everything that matched the rating of the existing system. I gave Todd at Texas Discount Air a call, and was pleasantly surprised to get a quote for an upgraded replacement system that was half the quote from Comfort Experts. His guys came in and installed it in less than 6hrs. We're cool now and we've cancelled the contract with CE and look forward to have Todd and his guys perform maintenance and checks. $29.00 service calls....a heck of alot better than some of the other big boy dealers that take advantage of the average homeowner for everything they can. Texas Discount Air......keeps you cool and keeps change in your pocket!!

Wow! Not only did this team arrive EARLY (called to let us know they could come 45 minutes before scheduled time if that was okay with us) they were so kind and kept us updated on all costs and repair options. BEST, BEST, BEST service you could use. Please do!

I am so grateful to Texas Discount Air! Completely SAVED me from being taken advantage of by another company that was trying to rob me (One Hour Air). Texas Discount Air is so honest, and outstandingly fair rates!! And same day service in the summer!! Just WOW. Todd (the owner) went above and beyond!
