Todd came out today from Texas discount air and he was very helpful. This company was prompt and on time and spoke thoroughly with us about our ac system. We recently had another company come out who gave us a very expensive quick fix Todd could have done the same to make a quick but but he didn’t he gave us the truth and gave us options! He reached out to us quickly and we appreciate that in this Texas heat!

Todd came over and within 15 minutes he diagnosed and repaired my AC system. He was very nice and informed me of how to take care of my unit going forward. I would recommend him and use his services in the future. Thanks Todd!

Excellent experience with Texas Discount Air! I called Sunday evening and Todd was able to come Monday morning. Our AC was not not staying on and he was able to quickly identify the problem which was a clog in the condesation pipe connected to the furnace. He fixed the issue and made sure to do so in the least expensive way possible!

I was having a problem where the a/c compressor would sometimes stop working and then (days later) I would try it and it would start up again, only to stop after a day or so. My internet search led me to Texas Discount Air and the 5 star reviews that the business really seemed to earn. I guess you really don't know until you make that call but I'm glad I did. As it happened, Todd from Texas Discount Air was able to get to me within an hour or so of my initial call. He was on time, professional, courteous, informative and really took the time to determine why the unit wasn't performing. In my case, after checking the outside unit, the thermostat, and going up into the attic to check out what was happening there, he was able to discover that the drain pan wasn't draining, causing the float switch to shut the system down. He brought me up to show me what he had found and gave me an education on what I was working with as I had no clue. He successfully fixed the draining issue, put everything back together outside and actually refused to accept any payment for the work he did or the time he spent (about 40 minutes). His explanation? It wasn't a "repair".

The unit is almost 17 years old and we've all heard horror stories of unscrupulous or incompetent technicians who've taken advantage of that situation. Todd offered to prepare me a quote for that time in the future when the system might need to be replaced but there was no sales pitch. When that time comes? I know who I'm calling; I can't imagine having anyone else out to do the work.

Todd was absolutely amazing. He was able to fix my A.C. unit quickly and for a very reasonable fee. He's honest and very knowledgeable. Todd was honest and upfront. Definitely like the concept of "hey I'll leave you a quote via email and you let us know". DJ and John were the installation techs. Very knowledge and seem like good dudes. Best part is that everything was transparent and easy. Would definitely use again.
