Awesome experience. Todd was informative, quick, helpful, and honest (the last one is the most important to me). A part on our A/C unit broke and we called, he was here the same day. Not only that, we told him that we needed to think about it and called a bit later when we decided we wanted it taken care of and he came out AGAIN. Don’t waste your time with other places, use Texas discount air.

Spoke to Todd on the phone a few nights ago, around 6pm. My AC hasn't been cooling as quickly as it had in the weeks prior. Todd immediately suggested to change out the main air filter, stating that about 50% of his calls recently have been because of dirty filters, but to call back in a couple hours if I didn't see any difference with my system. It appears that the air filter has at least temporarily resolved my issue. I'm very impressed with Todd. He saved me time and money but left me knowing that he was available for more help if I needed it. Great way to do business.

Reviews here are real for the company. I called master technician Todd, after going thru some reviews here. He showed up on time, found the issue in seconds, fixed it in few minutes and best of all, total charges were very reasonable. Other companies i called would charge almost that much, just to come and give an estimate. and today's service comes with 5 yr warranty. Best part, loved the friendly conversations and advises he gave on how to maintain the AC units. Would definitely call again if i need some AC help. TEXAS DISCOUNT AIR is a staple.

I can't say enough good things about Todd at Texas Discount Air. This guy is top notch! You may have tried the rest, now try the BEST! We called at 7:15pm and he was at our house and had the air conditioning working by 7:45pm! The price was low and the service quality was high. If you are looking for an honest air conditioning repair company look no further. We have had Todd out a number of times over the years. I called yesterday evening because we smelled burning rubber and after an internet search was concerned that it might be the air conditioner. Todd agreed that it definitely could be coming from the A/C and he came out this afternoon. He checked everything out, and to my surprise told me everything actually looks good! He explained to me what to look for in case of future problems (even while my two dogs were barking like crazy 😬) and when he was finished didn’t charge me a dime even though I offered and was more than willing to pay for him coming out. Honesty is a rare trait in this business. We won’t go to anyone else for our air conditioning needs!

7/13/2018 - My A/C went out on a Friday afternoon. Called my home warranty company but the soonest they could get someone to take a look was the following Tuesday. That wasn't going to work with a new infant, two animals, and a wife who hates anything warmer than arctic temperatures.

I called Todd with TDA and he was able to show up within only a few hours. He was professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and had the right tools for the job. The first thing he did was introduce himself and hand me his card. Next, he listed to everything I told him about the problem without interrupting me. Then, he described exactly what the problem was, in detail, and told me what he was going to have to do to fix it. Once I gave him the OK, he went to work and my A/C was working again within the hour.

Price was spot on and not outrageous at all for a late Friday night call.

Todd is definitely my new go-to-guy for my A/C. I'm keeping his business card on the frig right next to my go-to-guy for plumbing.

Our AC quit working. We have a very high end system. Lots of computer boards and stuff I do not understand. Todd from Texas Discount Air came out to look at it. He arrived right on time. He looked at our unit and told me there was a better person to work on it. He gave me the guys number (Jon with Top Gun) and thanked me for calling him. He did not charge me a service call (which I offered to pay). Total professional. Honest. 5 star

Very quick and professional service. Todd was at my house working on my AC within the hour of calling him on a Sunday evening. He was very friendly and provided excellent service. I would definitely recommend him and use him for future AC issues.
