I've gone with Mathews CCAC twice for issues I've had with my AC, both after business hours. Each time the techs were super helpful, kind and professional. Prices are very reasonable for being 24 hours with quick response. Cannot recommend them higher!
Robert and JR were called out to my mother’s house after our central AC stopped turning on. They arrived promptly and discovered the issue quickly! It turned out to be an electrical issue that originated in the attic. Robert and JR were very informative about what was going on, and they fixed the issue quickly. They were both very kind and genuine individuals. The pricing for the work was also very reasonable. I’ll certainly recommend this company to others and I plan to use this company again if I run into any other AC, electrical, or any plumbing issues.
AC stopped working after power outage. Tech eventually figured out it was a short in the heating system. He unplugs the heating system and the AC started working, but he did nothing to find and repair the short and return the system to full functionality. I was at work so he proceeds to convince my son that the Nest thermostat that was working fine before the outage is broken. He the tells him the thermostat the I replaced with the Nest was broken. He sold my son a new version of the older thermostat for $287. A quick Google search later revealed that thermostat sells for $82 on Amazon. Once I was home from work, I work out of town, I went to a neighbor I know has the same Nest. We changed them out, mine worked perfectly. We also tried out my older thermostat, it too worked perfectly. So they came, the unplugged my heating unit, didn't do anything to fix it, did get the AC running, and ripped us off for $287 on a thermostat we didn't need. Never using them again. Great way to get return customers Mathews.
Update: Mathews reached out to me. They sent a senior tech. He diagnosed the real issue. Re-installed my Nest. And refunded me for the thermostat I didn't need.
When I called for help they offered me to sign up for their shield program. It was a significant savings and offered electrical and plumbing support for the same price. Matt and Brant showed up and began working on my electrical. They were in communication with what they were working on and what they needed to fix. It was a little pricier than I would've liked, but reasonable and better than electrocuting myself trying to fix it. Me working on stuff is why I had to call them out. They offered advice on future home protection and were in there way. Ronnie and Aaron came and were very professional for the plumbing. They inspected my plumbing. It was very quick and very thorough. They were open about pricing and gave me plenty of options. Even picking the most necessary and saving some for later. They emailed me the quotes for later to call-in when I was ready. They gave advice on flushing the water heaters and water softeners.
Tech called before arriving, pleasant demeanor; asked if there were any issues(none) and proceeded to do his job. When finished, he put thermostat to original temperature, thanked me for our business and went on his way. Office person was very polite and helpful in setting up appointment and tech was spot on, can’t ask for more.
David showed up when he said he would and presented himself as clean and professional. His work and knowledge of a/c and wiring was top notch and he successfully diagnosed and repaired my problem.
I bought a new construction smart home house that has ethernet wall jacks inside the home in multiple locations to connect and get internet from my Router that should have been working when moved in. They did not unfortunately, but luckily for me I had a professional like Rene Flores come to my house and immediately found out what the issue was after a quick diagnostic. Rene kept me up to date on what he was doing and why he was doing it. Needless to say he got it working and I can finally use the ethernet wall Jack! I already booked my next appointment for Rene to drop another ethernet wall jack to my study room. This company provides various services not just AC from the name itself. I also loved the transparency on prices! There's nothing better than a company who does not try to rip you off to makeore profit i believe the prices are very reasonable for the knoledge and professionalism I have experienced. I'm already planning on using them for future lighting projects along with AC maintenence! Thanks Rene and also to the company! Ps. Having people smart enough and experienced enough to handle smart home or ethernet issues is such a game changer!
Old AC unit went out and made multiple calls to get service. Turned out the our compressor was bad and a new system was needed. Mathews CCAC was able to install a new unit, the very next day. Mathews CCAC sent out multiple techs through out the process and each one was pleasant, did not waste time and were very professional. I highly recommend this company for any AC work.
Adam was courteous and found the problem quickly. He called the office from my driveway so a new fan motor could be ordered. He sincerely apologized that he could not complete repairs immediately.
