I have nothing but positive things to say about Christmas Air. My upstairs air conditioner stopped working and they came out to repair it. Even though it too some time trying to find the issue, they worked until they found it and fixed it. With our Texas heat, Christmas Air is a lifesaver! Thank you so much! Paulette M.

I’ve used Christmas HVAC twice now. First time was a heating issue. Tony came out diagnosed the problem quickly and problem solved. Second time was a cooling issue. I got Tony again. Once again he diagnosed the issue quickly and problem solved. Most important to me was honest service great attitude and very helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome than I received. Josh from Christmas Air arrived on time and was a total pro. It has been rainy lately, and he made sure to cover his shoes before entering the house. He was congenial and polite. He cleared the drain line and gave me maintenance tips for the indoor unit to reduce the frequency of this kind of issue. He also checked the outdoor unit for issues as we head into the hottest part of the year. I would 100% call Christmas Air again in future if I have an HVAC problem.

Had a coil go bad. They contacted the manufacturer took care of the warranty claim, got the part and were back out in 2 days fixing my unit. This was when the heat index was 115 and my unit could not keep up. Will be a customer for life.

Two guys showed up, told me it was the Nest thermostat and should replace with something besides Nest. As they were leaving, I asked if they should check the unit for Freon etc as it’s an old unit. They said no, it’s the Nest.

I replaced the Nest with a new one. It seemed to work a little for a day, but now it’s still not cooling and giving an error message. Looks like I need to call them back out and likely wait another week for an appointment, when they could’ve stayed more than 10 min to make sure all was good.

UPDATE: I replied to their text and have an appointment on Sat 5/20.

They were by far the best price out of three different vendors I received quotes. They routinely thought "outside-the-box" for ideas that could save me money, and their solutions were high quality:
1. They were able to install a mini-split unit to service my one room study instead of a 1 ton unit which would have cost twice as much and would have been overkill (which the other two vendors recommended). With the mini-split, they even identified a new method to place it in an attic instead of cutting a hole in my wall (which the other two vendors thought was the only way to do it). It's this type of creativity to save money that is rare with HVAC companies nowadays, and once you find a company that does this, it's easy to stick with them like I plan to do. After it was installed, we later realized the unit needed a filter installed, and they came out promptly to perform the work for free.
2. I had another dead A/C unit for a room that was used for storage. Instead of replacing that unit which two other vendors wanted to do, they reconfigured another bigger unit with two zones, one of which serviced that storage room. So, we were able to completely remove one A/C unit which saved me a ton of $$.
3. I had another unit that had biological growth, and they were able to remediate the unit and install a Halo unit to make sure the air was clean going forward.
4. One of my units had a compressor that wouldn't turn off, and they came out promptly to replace the failed part; because of the work they had already to other units, they only charged me the price of the part (labor was free), which was very nice of them and totally unexpected.

In general besides being very cost effective and creative as mentioned above, they were always on-time, polite, and thorough.

I definitely recommend giving Christmas Air a chance to quote your work, and I'm confident they will provide high quality service at cheaper rates over bigger vendors that to me were charging embarrassing prices now that I've had my positive experience with Christmas Air. I'll be recommending them to my friends and family.

They showed up on time. They were very friendly and knew what they were doing. I had a wifi thermostat installed, and an air conditioner unit check.
Technician popped up into the attic and found loose ducting and fixed that!
Very quick install and I’m ready for hot weather!
