    We moved to Charlotte six months ago. As any new comer, you kiss a few frogs before you land on a great support system of highly reliable vendors.
    American Heating and cooling will be servicing our HVAC for as long as we live in the Charlotte metro area.
    Nathan, the service tech called ten minutes ahead of arriving (as advertised). He was beyond courteous and attentive as we reviewed some of the issues with the AC. He went off to check on things. When he finished his inspections he gave me a thorough well thought out description on what the issue was. Extremely professional and reasonably priced. I highly recommend American Air Heating and Cooling

    We contacted your company to come out and do a seasonal service check for 2 of our office. We appreciated how polite, professional and knowledgeable your service tech David Parker was. He was quick and efficient and assisted us in options to fixing any issues we had! I would definitely recommend this company to others.

    I called American Air to come fix one of my A/C units at home and i was not expecting the owner, Chad, to do the service cal. That was amazing, just goes to show you how involved he is with his business making sure his customers are happy. Needless to say, he took care of the problem with no issues and also was able to explain further on how to use my A/C system better. Thank you so much for fixing my system and I would highly recommend American Air for any and all your A/C needs!

    I was in the end process of selling my house and the buyer wanted at the last minute an agreement that I would service my HVAC system. David came the next day and he even called me earlier to say he had time sooner. I was happy he came as he was quick, excellent and new exactly what he was doing. He even saved me money and was very reasonable in price. I Highly recommend David Parker.

    THE WORST! I had an associate come out to my home and check on my HVAC system. He said I was low on freon and that I needed about 2 pounds more. I was going to pay out of pocket. After he filled it up, he said there was a leak coming from a bad TXV value and that I need a new one and it would cost about $1800. Sorry, I don't have that kind of cash on hand, so I told him I had to go through my home warranty. The Tech got spooked and didn't know what to do. He told me to call his boss, Chad Jr. and he said he would contact my home warranty company and get it all worked out. I was then reassured by the Tech Jamie AND Chad Jr. that they would not leave me high and dry. Well, It's been over THREE WEEKS and I've heard NOTHING and Chad Jr. won't even return my phone call! THANKS FOR NOTHING!!

    We have been having issues with the upstairs heat actually heating the downstairs master/master bathroom. David was here all of 35-40 minutes, diagnosed the issues, fixed and tested. David was professional and respectful. American Air has earned a customer for life because of this.

    We have had American Air since moving to Rock Hill 5 years ago. Devin B came and provided a through servicing of the units and was very polite and pleasant as well. Our experiences have been very good. Kudos to Devin and the whole team.

    I've been having some issues with my air conditioning. Nathan Wilburn came out last week, checked everything out and diagnosed a plumbing issue that needs to be fixed. He arranged for a plumber to come out through my home warranty company.
    Unfortunately, the plumber didn't understand the issue and did very little - and my air conditioner still didn't work. Nathan came back today, got the system working again but explained in detail the plumbing issue. He took pictures and videos and sent them to me so that I can explain exactly what needs to be done to the next plumber. He also contacted my home warranty company again and made the arrangements. for a new plumber to come. I felt that Nathan really cared about my situation and did the absolute best he could to make sure the issues are resolved. Besides that, he's a really nice guy! Thanks Nathan!

    We have done business for 3 years with American Heating and Air. They installed an upstairs heating system in July. We had purchased a 3 year annual systems check with them. When their representative came in December to do the final servicing, he found where a part had not been installed on the unit.

    We called American Heating and Air to install the part their service man reported to us that needed completing. We called and spoke with one of their telephone operators and explained the issue we were calling about. She told us she would have someone call us back. They have not called us back, nor will they answer the phone when we call them trying to get the issue resolved.

    We had similar problems when our outside unit needed replacing. They refused to take our calls. We found them to tell us untruths about problems with our heat and air.

    I would strongly suggest not doing business with them as they do not tell the truth and refuse to take your calls when they are responsible for completing a job they have done. They do not take responsibility for their work.

    We just had a new system installed by American Air. Our A/C saga started in May, when our creaky old system quit on us. We called American Air to come out and look at it, which they promptly did. The technician was very nice, honest and punctual. He charged it with freon, but since this isn't the first time we've needed a recharge in that old system (it was becoming an every six-month thing) he also offered stop-leak. The best part? If the stop-leak didn't work, he said they'd credit the cost toward a new system. I had them do the stop-leak back in May. Last Friday, the A/C froze up again. American came out the same day to give us a quote for replacement and even charged up the old unit so it could run over the weekend for us! They showed up at 8:30 am on Monday and installed the new system. Everyone was kind, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. They cleaned up any and all messes as a result of their work and the new system brought the inside temperature down in NO time. There were absolutely zero surprise charges. What I paid was exactly what was quoted to me. They honored their word and credited the stop-leak, even though that was two months ago. The system is (obviously) super new, so I can't comment on reliability yet, but customer service so far has been fantastic. Very happy.
