    We had a freak accident where my wife was hanging a picture on the wall and when she put in the nail it somehow punctured the A/C pipe in the wall and depressurized our A/C system on a 100 degree holiday weekend.

    Max responded within 2 hours, cut into the wall, welded the pipe (who knew HVAC folks welded?!), recharged the A/C unit and had us back up and running within about an hour of his arrival.

    His expertise and experience showed. He even had them waive the diagnostic fee because he said he realized it was a freak accident and he knew the diagnosis immediately.

    I can only highly recommend Long Heating & Air if you are in need of professionals that know what they are doing. After an unqualified technician from another company assigned from my Home Warranty worked on my system und damaged it beyond repair. I called Long that I had recently signed up for the annual maintenance contract to assess the damage. Ryan and Kyle came to my house the next morning after I had called. They figured within minutes how bad of a job was done, but unfortunately there was no hope of repair. They wrote a detailed report on what they found so I can use it for my fight with the Home Warranty that caused the damage. They called Mark (Sales person) and he came out within 30 minutes to prepare a quote for a new system to replace my damaged upstairs HVAC unit. He also hooked me up with great 0% interest financing. Next day I got confirmation that everything was ordered, and system should be installed within a week. The office called me the day before the set installation date to confirm that all the parts are in, and they will be at my house the next day in the morning. The installation crew showed up at 8:30 AM the next day and removed the old system and installed the new system within 4 – 5 hours. In the process of installing the new system they also fixed an airflow issue to our Master bedroom that we had since we moved into our house 16 years ago and no other company was able to address it properly before.

    Pleasant experience. Joshua came out with an abundance of experience. Within 20-30 minutes he found the issue, communicated it to me in a way I understood it, temporarily found a solution, and scheduled the follow up for the part replacement all in one breath. Not only was I impressed by his knowledge and professionalism, he also knew the inter-workings of the warranty coverage that I qualified for. Here recently in a post Covid society, customer service has been a true testament to the degradation of a selfless society. Businesses argue with you about your experience as a customer and wrong you for wanting better “customer service” on a purchase or an experience that you’ve paid to get. It was refreshing to have Joshua come out and spread his kindness to my family. With a newborn in the home, in the middle of the summer, air conditioning is a high priority. He and his team delivered! It was a next day appointment, a same day solution, and a week to permanently fix the issue (due to ordering a part and a federal holiday). Would 10 out of 10 recommend this service to others and would use them again in the future.

    Technician diagnosed repair needed to replace connection relay ( “contactor” ) and capacitor 45/5 MMF on outside unit for 744 dollars because loosely connected high voltage wire sparked and burned the connection out of service. The actual cost of both parts is 20 bucks, each. The labor involved is 30 minutes tops. I refused the repair and simply reconnected the wire after cleaning the connection terminal and the wire. Took me 5 minutes and the unit works. I couldn’t believe such a shameless scam (or total incompetence, or both) was possible. But with this company - it is!

    From the moment I called to get information the folks here were professional and personable. The technician, Angel, was punctual, patient and very responsive to all my questions. He made sure he took the time to explain the issues he was seeing so that I understood, preventative measures that are important for the unit and even tips on cleaning that are very useful! Top quality work and service in my experience! I will highly recommend Long for any heating & air needs!

    Great experience with our rep. Very professional, and Knowledgeable. Took the extra time to explain zone heating and reviewed concerns we had about a prior repair that he didn’t handle. He also took the time to review how the air was flowing and adjust the dampers to make us more comfortable.

    Our AC quit working on a very hot Sunday afternoon. We called Long and the service technician got back to us quickly and let us know when to expect him. He arrived promptly and resolved the issue. We had cool air immediately. Highly recommend Long for your heating and cooling issues.

Jason was very knowledgeable and provided great solutions to a couple of ongoing issues we had. Today they were right on time and my wife said the crew was wonderful. Polite, hard working and very clean as they worked through the removal of a unit and an installation of a new complete unit.

    The technician was on-time, clean, very knowledgeable, efficient and seem to be a great person as well. Long H&A is a great company that does what they say they were going to do. That seems like a simple concept but many companies fail to do just that. Long will aways earn my business when ever the need arises.
