We are installing a fence and needed to make sure the propane line underground wouldn't be an issue. The guy that came out was kind and courteous. He explained that since they didn't initially install the tank, there was no way to confirm where the line was, but he offered to move the tank to the side of the house and run a new line same day. Now we can get our fence installed without worrying about the line. I appreciate you guys!
I've been an extremely loyal customer for thirty years. I recently ran out of oil last Friday. Called customer service and they informed me that someone would be out 5-7 hours later that evening with 10 gallons of oil.Waited the full 7 hours until service tech arrived with 10 gallons of oil. Full delivery came the following afternoon. I pay extra for oil each year since I contract a price and am on AUTOMATIC DELIVERY, as well as an expensive service contract. I should not have to call them for oil. I can call any other company for a delivery at a cheaper price. I never received a follow up call to apologize nor offered any compensation as many other oil companies do. I will certainly be looking at other oil companies to service my needs in 2019.

In about 1 hour we received a call from Dave who was great and said he would be here in 45 minutes. He found out very quickly our thermostat was toast. He changed it out in 5 minutes and he was on his way. Dave was absolutely personable and very knowledgeable!
I was a,Petro customer for 17 years. For last few years had to call to battle about how their pricing was high and even when oil prices were low they charged the locked ceiling rate. Finally I found Coan who's ceiling was 30 cents lower and has 24/7 exceptional service. No loyalty for retention. I advise all to do your due diligence and shop around.
We were on a very tight timeframe to have our new heating system and hot water heater installed....and it was Christmas time. The entire staff was pleasant, professional, very responsive, and prompt! They got everything done for us...on time ....and did such a great job; the work was so cleanly done that I actually told them it looked pretty (I bet they don't hear that very often 😊).
I am mad at myself for not remembering the gentleman’s name who came to my house to get my heat/hw back on yesterday. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable and thorough. He listened to me ramble on about my heating system and was very receptive to what I was saying. He also gave me tips and more information on my furnace that I didn’t know about. He got my heat and hot water back running within minutes. I signed up with Petro because they are a large company and have a great reputation.
This company should be investigated for price Gouging.
Please be careful, these folks will get you to sign a contract, deliver oil at reasonable market levels for several months, then they will jump your deliveries to the MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE BY THE CONTRACT. Even when prices go down from when you had previously paid MUCH LOWER PRICES, they will max out your deliveries and max out your payments.
Then with a snicker on the other end of the phone they will read your contract to you when you call to complain.
Ask to see their delivered cost which is required by their contract and THEY WILL NOT SHOW YOU because they are gouging you.
So many other oil suppliers, choose any other full service group. Just not them.
A truly disappointing company to deal with when an employee states one thing, doesn't follow through then I request to speak to a manager and never get a call from one. Yet I'm a "valued customer" they say. Try selling me something I just bought a year ago. Don't look at my account to see I don't need another new central air unit. Credit dept. continued harrassment because a manager can't take a few minutes to talk with me. Go pound sand Petro!!!
The service man came as scheduled and identified the cause of the leak, and then replaced the part. He was quick, friendly, and courteous. I was very pleased. This is why I really like Petro. They have the best service personnel.
We have been using Petro Oil for about 4 years now and have nothing but great things to say about them. Their service people are always friendly and professional. Customer service works with me whenever it is time to renew our contract. I highly recommend the service plan.
