R.E. Coogan Heating Inc

We can't say enough for R.E. Coogan Heating Inc. On July 1 of this year our ceiling was leaking where the Air Handler is located. We had a mess on our hands to say the least. We called several companies and no one could come out and help us except for Coogan Heating. Devin and Keven were sent, they went into the attic and found that the tray that the air handler rested on had a hole in it. Although it could be fixed it was cost effective to replace the whole system. Within a few days the system was replaced and we were up and running. Both Devin and Kevin did an excellent job. Even before and after the system was installed, Robert the owner called to check on us. With our new system we couldn't be happier!!!

I'm interested in their definition of emergency service. My boiler broke and I called hoping I could have someone come out to at least look at it to diagnose. I could've waited a day or two but as soon as I said I wasn't a previous customer they said they couldn't do anything for 2-4 weeks. Guess it's only an emergency if you've done business with them before.

My very old oil burner finally let go so I was in great need of heat. Since I had gas in my home already, it was best to switch to gas. I called and Mr. Coogan was helping staff and answered the phone. He was here in the same day with my best options and made sure I was comfortable with my decisions. I did get other quotes and impressions but RE Coogan was the best in both price and integrity. He made it happen immediately and his crew was respectful and professional. I had heat just in time for the Polar Vortex. I am forever grateful and found a great service. High recommend RE Coogan.

Wow! My daughter arrived back at our house after traveling during the holidays—and there was no heat. The system had failed. Bobby Coogan made sure that she had some heat while his team quickly installed a new furnace. We live overseas and Bobby sent texts, pictures, and videos to keep us posted. My boiler went out during a cold week, and the owner of R.E. Coogan heating Inc made sure to get me a quote same day and started working on getting the new boiler in a day early and had lots of his guys here helping so we would have heat before the temp dropped to single digits, also great price for a new boiler and installation! I can't say enough good things. My favorite Aunt had been having issues with her heating system and couldn't find a Plumber to return her call, nevermind come out! I jumped in for the assist as it's winter and cold, an intermittently working heating system is not acceptable. Through a friend, I was given this company's name and number! The OWNER took my call and was super helpful. I worked with his office to get my Aunt on their schedule for the same day (this isn't always possible)! Imagine my shock to learn that the OWNER actually came out with an apprentice and made sure my Aunt was up and running. He even called me back and let me know she was all set! I am beyond impressed. Great service, reasonable prices and wonderful communication! ZERO complaints.

I am a small landlord on the East Side of Providence. For the last five years I turned to R. E. Coogan Heating with my plumbing problems, and have always been delighted with their service. When contacted, R. E. Coogan responds quickly. I have had occasion to use their emergency services late at night and on weekends. When contacted R. E. Coogan Heating responds. When a tenant's water heater failed on Sunday, they had one installed with 4 hours.

R. E. Coogan Heating has Installed water heaters and has fixed heating boilers. I can recommend their service without hesitation.

Update August 5, 2021. Had to get a new AC system. RE Coogan showed up and did a fantastic job. His crew was very detailed and meticulous, cleaned up everything. I Highly recommend them for any job.
