Extraordinary service -- prompt and efficient ... and friendly
Phenomenal service. Went with SCS after another contractor gave me a $2000 estimate to "maybe" repair my a/c. SCS advised that I probably just needed to add refrigerant, which he did. Less than $300 and the system is working perfectly
SCS is fantastic. I've upgraded two homes with new AC and HVAC through them and both times they are incredibly professional, on time and competitively priced. Hopefully I don't ever need to upgrade a third home anytime soon but if I do, I will definitely call them first.
Outstanding work. Very professional and courteous. Provided timely completion of the HVAC maintenance and I am very pleased with the results. I will continue to use SCS for all of my HVAC needs and I will recommend this company to all of my friends. It is hard to find a company that takes pride in their work and charges a reasonable price, in fact, it is almost impossible. But SCS stands alone, and I am happy to have found them.
Replaced broken fan motor. Showed up in time window. Returned a few hours later with the necessary part. Price quote was accurate.
SCS was communicative and quick to respond. They showed up within the designated window and fixed the issue - a bad thermostat. Heat is back and everybody is happy. The technician explained everything real well and gave some helpful tips. We will definitely be calling them with any issues.

Had hidden fees that were found out post-service. Claimed that it was their fault and offered to waive a future service call fee. I reached out to take them up on that offer late and I got this response: "While we appreciate you reaching back out, unfortunately we are not able to do any service on your unit at this time. We recommend XYZ or ABC." Clown show.
I pursued multiple quotes in the area for HVAC replacement (Reston) and SCS was among the most reasonable. Cory was professional and helpful when making the estimate and Cory and Oscar completed the job very quickly and cleanly. The quote was transparent and they even knocked the price down once the job was done because I provided my own thermostat. Would highly recommend, especially if you hate high pressure sales tactics which large companies often push on you.
I have been using SCS for years to take care of my heating and air conditioning needs. They have been terrific! Fast to provide service. They repair what's needed at reasonable prices and provide great advice. When our old system goes down, we will be using SCS to renew and replace!

Great service. For a non-emergency replacement of a water-source heat pump, I had an estimate within 24 hours of my initial call and the work was completed within 2 days after that. Cory and his team were familiar with my condominium building and its systems and worked closely with the building management to minimize disruption. They removed the old unit and left my condo clean and tidy. And the new heat pump works very well. Really recommend these guys. ADDITIONAL: Andrew came out to service my unit on the same day I called in April 2021. He arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem, charging me only for the visit. System working perfectly again. Great service!
I have used SCS for over 20 years in all the homes I have lived. They are professional, responsive and I trust their work. I have recommended them to several friends over the years who also continue to use them today.
Excellent customer service, and repair work. On-time. Fair pricing. They have an ample supply of parts for my old condo HVAC system. Very happy. Will absolutely call again.
Used the company to repair problems in my furnace/heat pump system. It was rather challenging due to the age of the unit and shortage of spares. They overcame the problems and the fix lasted 4 years so I'm happy. When I thought it was time to go all in with a new system and a gas Hot water heater they came right to mind. I for the water heater was did shop quotes around a bit a Big outfit's bid for the same job with same equipment was 35% higher!!! If you root for the little guy who doesn't spend your money advertising on TV SCS is for you. Small size, small price, big knowledge, big quality, and great service. I'm glad to give them my business, they have earned my money and respect
SCS was very quick to respond and get a tech to my house the same day I called for an issue with my A/C. Samantha in the office and Andrew at the house we're both beyond respectful of my time and concerns. My A/C was up and running the same day! definitely use them again in the future for my HVAC needs.
