We had a great experience with VanKleef Heating and Air. Our AC unit stopped working and VanKleef was able to promptly come out and get the unit running properly. Both the lady in the office and the technician sent to our house were friendly and professional. The technician (John) explained everything he was doing, what he found, and our options to resolve the issue. We highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future.
Power surge from last night's storm messed up our AC and it stopped blowing cold air. I called this morning at 7am and he was here at 1pm (as promised) and fixed it straight away. Super nice guy, explained what happened and what to do if we had another surge like that. Great price as well! Highly recommend, and will do business with again!
VanKleef is an excellent HVAC service provider. They are prompt, professional and provide excellent service. We have used their services twice and plan to use them in the future for all maintenance and repair services for our HVAC system.
This company is the absolute worst and I will be telling everyone I know and then some not to use them as they will rip you off. You get what you pay for here. They are cheaper than the other companies and we found out the hard way why. We spent our entire savings pre covid to have a new furnace and air conditioner put in by them as it was considerably cheaper and the owner at the time seemed like a good guy. Not even a month later the air conditioner stops working and they tell us a part was recalled and they had to install a different one. Well fast forward to a month later when the heat had to be on and the furnace they just installed does not work. We then have to call them every month sometimes twice a month to fix our furnace for about 6 months. The weather got down to 10 degrees with snow coming down, my house was 39 degrees by the time they got here and the guy they send to fix the furnace now says he can't fix it because the wiring is bad. And that they don't check wiring they just install furnaces. So you mean to tell me that the you would just install a furnace to anything when that could lead to a fire? We then pay 964 dollars for an electrician to install a new wire for the furnace for the furnace to still not work. The "Manager" we had been working said originally if the wire issue did not fix it they would pay me back for the electrician but then got it working again later that day so we left it alone. It's now not even a month later and here I am in my 50 degree house, no heat. And the 24/7 emergency services never returned my call. We called about every 5 minutes starting at 950pm until we gave up at almost 12am and have heard nothing. The "Manager" knows we have pets that could die because of the cold and they have a technician who lives supposedly down the street from me but they still have not answered our calls. This company ripped us off and they installed units that won't work longer than a month and this is all still under warranty. We haven'

This place is the worst place to have any of your heating or air done . They never service anything , when your air stops working they will not fix it. I made the mistake of having them put in all of mine, only to have it mess up 3 diffrent times and this is with in the last five years. We hadnt even had air for the last two years and they finnally come tell me its done i need to have a new unit put in , no its still under warantty, They are a big Joke.
I strongly recommend this company for your HVAC needs. Had problems with my AC unit not cooling enough and sometimes freezing up. I thought it was related to the evaporator coil so I called Vankleef. John from VanKleef showed up as scheduled and on time to review my situation. He took the time to look at the E-coil and access the problem. I was wrong about the coil but right about the company to call to solve the problem. John did a great job diagnosing the problem, communicating and explaining the issue, and most importantly fixing the problem. Thank you John and thank you VanKleef for a fast, professional and reasonably priced solution to my cooling problem.

The owner took my call and took time to explain the issue with my a/c unit. He was knowledgeable and interested in fixing the problem as inexpensively as possible. The service man who came to our house the next day was also kind and did the job efficiently. He also took time to talk to us as well. I highly recommend this company if you have any heating or air needs.
I really, REALLY want to give only one star. The only reason I'm not is because the unit I have did not come from this company. Nonetheless, my AC unit was leaking and I looked to this company for help. They sent someone over and he secured a drain pipe and unclogged something that I can't remember. Little over 100 bucks later, he's gone. I came home to still find water seeping from under the floor. I called again. I spoke to a woman and explained the situation. She didn't ask when I'd be available, just immediately says she'll send someone over. I tell her if someone's going to come that day to let me make sure my girlfriend would be home because I had to work. She IMMEDIATELY got short and interrupted me with "WOAH WOAH WOAH hang on, what about your girlfriend? What do you want me to do?!" Well ma'am, should you wind up reading this then if you'd either asked when would be convenient to begin with or actually listened to what I was saying you'd have known. Instead of saying that, I explained (again) that I had to work that day so I gave her a more convenient day. That day was yesterday. Gentleman comes over, adjusts one little pipe, and says he couldn't find anything else. Didn't charge me again so at least there's that. However, an hour ago I came home to a leak so bad that I had to resort to pulling up the floor boards in my hallway and living room so as to prevent molding. I don't understand how two different people from this one company could miss the cause of an issue this severe. Maybe this company is well equipped to make repairs on units that they installed. I don't know. But from my experience, if your unit is not from them I would steer FAR away from them Update: My stepfather came over and found the problem in less than one hour. He found what two "licensed professionals" couldn't in less time than it took either of them to give up.
