Because they have a monopoly on gas service they have no problems screwing you. Shut off gas even though we paid immediately after finding out it was late. Then they shut off two weeks later out of no where because of not calling with a conf. Number. Sent our money back. Most ridiculous thing ever. Two babies in the house. Won't do same day service and rep was rude and didnt care that i have young kids. Would not rush even though it had been paid two weeks earlier. Ridiculous rules.Service men are nice but thats about it.
Every guy that came to fix my air and furnace where polite, friendly and I felt safe to have them in the house. We need more workers that want and like what they are doing. When you have good men like these I always give them a tip to get lunch or whatever. Sandra L. Dorney
Have annual service contract and called them on the first day of warm weather when our unit was not working. Called at 4PM and had a technician at our house by 7PM. Fixed the problem and covered by our contract. Excellent and friendly service.
The motor on our daughter's A/C unit burned out due to dirt clogging the vents. Not sure how they got clogged since we have it serviced twice a year. Fortunately our contract covered all the costs, including cleaning the vents on both units. The new motor was installed within one day, and the downstairs unit helped to reduce the upstairs humidity, but not the heat
The technician was actually early! Since I had just moved into this home, he inspected and then explained routine maintenance to me and also the service plan if I wanted to continue. Excellent experience.
I had to get a boiler certified for a City Allentown Inspection. The customer service rep was able to fit me in with a date that would be done before the inspection. They worked to help me. Good Job
Knowledgeable, clean, competent. My only complaint is that I had to wait almost 6 hours from my original call. Had I been told about the potential wait time, I might have set it up for first thing in the morning.
They sent an incompetent technician on January 19 for the annual cleaning of our bolier so he shut it down due to high carbon monoxide levels which is understandable, but no solution given no diagnosis or even a follow up, called a local hvac guy 1 hour he found out that UGI tech never cleaned the air intake for the carlin gas burner that's why it was producing high levels of carbon monoxide because the unit was starving for oxygen. Not cool!
The technician was prompt in getting to my home to take care of the issue. He was courteous and very helpful. I would recommend UGI HEATING , COOLING & PLUMBING TO EVERYONE.
