I needed an emergency shut off valve installed on my water line for a new fridge. Billy was beyond amazing, helpful and kind. I had a fantastic experience. My tech (Trevin) identified a major safety issue in my electrical system, and explained both the problem and proposed solution very clearly. We ended up replacing the entire breaker box for the house, and he went above and beyond to let me know about some other potential issues that could crop up in the future (unrelated to electricity). I had a very positive experience and fully recommend this company, and specifically Trevin.

This is was 5-start from top to bottom. Let me tell you about two experiences that are connected. Before I explain the two experiences let me tell you some general things: In both cases, it was VERY easy to schedule and they communicated very well, both by digital communication (text and email) and I also spoke to a person (coordinator). I appreciate that because clarity is important to me. Also, I appreciate that I could set things up online. I went online to schedule on a late Saturday and they were here early that following Monday.

HERE ARE THE TWO EXPERIENCES
First of all, J&A installed a new furnace and thermostat a few years ago. And the system has been running great. Plus, I've saved a lot of money. Among other things, I loved that J&A is professional, thorough, and they take time to explain and teach. When they installed the new system and thermostat, they were proactive in walking me through the steps. But what is more, I appreciated that they recommended that I upgrade the system and the thermostat. This was not an upsell. In fact, they believed in the recommendation, their work, and the products so much that they gave me a huge discount to do upgrade the thermostat, making the upgrade of the thermostat almost free (and I researched price of product and labor). In addition, the upgrade of the system was perfect for the house to run more efficiently. I'm very happy with overall system and thermostat. They even taught me and my family how to use the digital thermostat and the app.

Secondly, I called them back to do a maintenance. Tony Bell came through. To be honest, I tried other companies through a home warranty, but I wasn't fully satisfied. The system was running fine, but I there was one company that came through but never finished the (maintenance) job. So, I just call J&A back. They were professional, timely, and took the time to teach. Tony encouraged questions and offered several prompts to see how things were working. One of the things that I asked about was an my blower compartment. It was something in the back of my mind from when they installed the system. Tony said that I really didn't "need" to change or upgrade but because I asked him, he still went through options. I decided to go with an change/upgrade. Which means that even though he only came for maintenance, he then left to get the materials, then came back and did the work. I'm satisfied.

Ultimately, there's a feel I have about working with people an companies. With J&A, the workers were relational, patient, competent, and thorough. Yes, they may be a little more than some other companies, but for me the little extra is definitely worth it. I'm satisfied

J&A was very quick to get back to me regarding my issue. Their online system made it very easy to schedule an appointment and provide preliminary information about my plumbing problem. They had a technician to my home in less than 48 hours and the entire process was seamless. My specialist was Josh McCall and he was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgable, and explained everything as he was doing it. My washer wasn't draining correctly and Josh fixed the issue very quickly. Would highly recommend both J&A and Josh McCall!
