Dominic came and went over everything we were needing. Calculated an estimate, showed products they would use. He was very thorough. After we booked our appointment, Dominic, Craig and Jeff came on time, got right to work. Consulted with me when needed. They were very professional and cleaned up after they finished. I would use J & A again. Dominic, Craig and Jeff were a great find and a pleasure to work with.

They replaced 6 commodes in our fire station with state of the power flushers in one day! Great job, very professional work, cleaned up the work spaces. Supervisor’s name was Mike. Very knowledgeable, kept me informed with scheduling and followed through on everything he said. Extremely satisfied!

After experiencing a water leak in my house. J&A plumbing was able to replace some of my old copper pipes with new PVC piping. After the job they had the county come out and inspect their work to insure it was up to code. Very knowledgeable and experienced people at J&A that make sure work is done right. J&A also seems like a company that the employees actually like working for which is reflective in their attitude on the job and willingness to help me as homeowner. With that said, I only do business with J&A for plumbing, HVAC, and electricity.

Trevin and Andrew did an incredible job helping my mom with her faulty wiring and panel for her washer and dryer. Knowing they could have taken advantage of an older woman, who was by herself, instead they went above and beyond to give her a great deal. I really appreciate you helping my mom, Loraine, and I also appreciate you being upfront about everything. Will definitely use them again for anything electrical we need!

Last week one of my contracting teams accidentally drilled through an electrical wire in a home. J&A sent someone out that same day to trouble shoot the issue. It was fairly complicated, but they were able to return the following week to make the full repair. They did it on time and for a reasonable cost. They also protected my customer’s clothes from dust and cleaned up well. J&A is a top tier service outfit in Pittsburgh, and anyone needing electrical, HVAC, or plumbing work should absolutely give them a call!

We had been getting the run around from our home warranty and another company they were contracted with. They kept pushing the date back and we had been without heat for two weeks at this point. We found J&A and they did an estimate and made the repairs the same day. I will recommend and will use them for everything else moving forward.

Update- switched hvac companies. New folks made some adjustments to the ac unit and no issues in several weeks. Cost me $200. Can’t believe JA wanted me to spend another $1800+ (after already giving them $700).

Tech was a nice guy but never even got to fixing the AC issue. Unit was tripping the power panel breaker. Said I had to clean the unit first for $500 then said there was a leak that would cost $1000 to fix. Now he’s gone and the breaker continues to pop. Very disappointing.

John and John (Master Plumber) from J&A Plumbing were top notch. They took care of a MAJOR plumbing repair when a sewer pipe ruptured behind a wall causing damage on three levels of our house.

John (not the master plumber) identified the issue, gave excellent guidance on how to proceed, and worked closely with our disaster mitigation/home restoration company and our insurance adjuster.

John got us scheduled into place in a few days after the disaster mitigation people had opened access for him, rather than the two weeks given to us by other plumbing companies, whose estimates we obtained. John also kept the scope of work focused and worked hard with our disaster mitigation service company to ensure that the majority of the 93-year-old bathroom and gorgeous tile were preserved to the best of his ability.

We also lost my mom while all of this was going on, and he took care to make sure I was looped in, and understood what was happening.

John brought with him a Master Plumber and they worked synergistically together during the bulk of the repair.

I honestly can't say enough good things. I am so appreciative of the level of service, the reasonable estimate, the quick response, and the care they took with what could be preserved when two other plumbers recommended an entire bathroom re-do, which I had NO interest in with a 93-year-old home, as rabbit holes seem to pop up with every project.

We discovered a leak in the main shut off valve for water. We found business on Google, liked the $89 diagnostic fee and contacted them. They came within two hours of our call. We had to contact PAWC to shut off water at the street only to discover the valve was broken. PAWC came that evening to repair the valve and plumber returned the next day to repair the valve and waited for PAWC to turn water back on to test the valve. They were extremely responsive and very patient waiting for water company. Will definitely use this plumber again -- hopefully not too soon.😀😀

Excellent work from Zack, Jacob, Devon and the team! They informed me of the progress every step of the way. Any questions or concerns were quickly answered. The area they worked in was clean and tidy - like there was no major installation work being done in my home! For such an investment, I feel confident and happy with my choice of having J&A install my new Furnace and AC system. They went above and beyond and exceeded all of my expectations.
