    Thank you so much Phillips Heating and air. My air condition stopped working. It was 80 some degrees and soon to be mid 90's with the heat index to 105 so getting my air fixed was a must. Phillips fixed it and made sure everything was up to par quickly and professionally. Now I can rest easy knowing my fam and pets are not gonna roast.

    I called Phillips Heating & Air Conditioning for a simple fix on my HVAC unit. I would have fixed myself if I could have left work. The part they used cost $15 and I was charged over $300! Absolutely absurd and a major price gouger. Unfortunately because of their ridiculous pricing I cannot recommend or use Phillips Heating & Air Conditioning again.

    The team was amazing at every level!
    Owners, field techs, office staff! and they came to the rescue fast ..after hours...and followed through...providing a temporary solution and more. Through identifying the issue, sourcing the product, installation and funding options, they treated my Mom with respect and care throughout the process.... as though she was their favorite aunt.

    This is the company you want when it comes to HVAC.

    I'm a landlord in Pittsburgh, and I bought a three-unit building in 2006 with a very complex heating system - two lead/lag boilers with five zones and an indirect hot water heater. It was a great design well ahead of its time for the late 1970s, but several components were failing or, at best, operating well beyond their service life.

    I wanted to update it, but I was concerned about its complexity. I called a few HVAC companies, and most of them didn't want anything to do with it. But then I called Phillips.

    Jack showed up, studied the layout, and then designed a computer-controlled management system that mirrored the functions of the older system, but more efficiently and more reliably. Most importantly, he explained how everything worked and supplied documentation for the new components. It worked wonderfully and it still does to this day.

    Since then, Phillips has provided annual maintenance and upgrades, and they've even solved a few of the remaining mysteries about how this unique set-up operates.

    Good customer service is one part of being a reliable HVAC company - answering the phone, showing up at the appointed time, being well-versed in basic maintenance and repairs - and Phillips is great at these. However, the ability to apply experience, knowledge, and skill to complicated and unique systems is another.

    Their techs are fantastic (Eric in particular), and if I ever need to design a new heating system for this place or any other, I'll call Phillips.

    One of the owners came out for a consultation/estimate to put in central air conditioning into my house. Gave me a bunch of information about different kinds of products I could have installed according to the type of furnace I have; a bit overwhelming but good information. Told me I would be hearing from him with price quotes...never heard back. A few days, I call to get quotes or find out when I would be hearing from them and I get the blow off stating that he's in a meeting and he'll call me back later that day...I don't get a call back. A week goes by and nothing. I call Metro Heating and Cooling, they come out the next day and a day after that I have reasonably priced multiple quotes and I'm signing a contract. Will have air conditioning in about a week. I wish I would have called Metro first. It's a shame Phillips Heating and Air Conditioning, I would've went with you if you would've given me the courtesy of calling me back.

    Shane came first thing in the morning on a Sunday to fix our boiler. He was quick, efficient, and professional. I definitely recommend Phillips if you live in the area.

    Have used Phillips services since moving to Pittsburgh 2 1/2 yrs ago. They are knowledgable, timely, thorough, reliable, and courteous. Would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

    Excellent service. Everything was explained to me before the work was started. Service was completed quickly. Bob answered my questions and gave me a heads up on what's happening with old Freon base A/C units. Have been a customer for almost 20 year's and look forward to continued great service.

    These guys were the best. They came in to RIP out a cast iron boiler from 1940 and left me with a quite safe new efficient one. Quiet respectful and quick. Probably 2 days of work tops. I couldn't be more happy with their work. And I definitely will be calling them if needed in the future.
