    I am from out of state and I needed to help a friend in need get service on their AC. From the moment I called and spoke with Gary (who I believe is the owner) I felt comfortable talking with them. I then spoke with Dave to set up a service time that was convenient as I was traveling some distance to be there. I has a scheduled service day within 5 days of my initial call. At the house my repair tech was named Jeff. He had my friends AC working within a half hour and was completely professional and explained things so I could understand for future reference. I would highly recommend Gravener to anyone in their local area. They were quick to schedule, empathetic to my situation, and had the follow through to get my friends AC working during the peak summer time of AC repair need. I am blessed to have contacted them.

    My house is so well balanced! Thanks Gary and your team. Our new Amana furnace is very quite and keep the comfort temperature in our home right in the sweet spot. Looking forward to the summer season to see how well the air conditioning works!

    I contacted Gravener on the recommendation of a good friend when the ancient furnace in my townhouse stopped working. Paul came out for an emergency call and was outstanding. He arrived earlier than expected and diagnosed the problem (gas valve). He could have easily condemned my furnace in order to sell me a new furnace as many others might have done, but Gravener does not do this when a repair can be done. Unbelievably, he had the parts for a repair right in his truck. He performed the repair and got me up and running. He made sure that the furnace cycled properly before leaving. I would give Gravener 6 stars if possible. Outstanding!

    These guys are professional, knowledgable and efficient. Jim has been doing our yearly maintenance for 12+ years and is excellent. When our old boiler developed leaking I didn't hesitate to put their estimate #1 , and indicating a new boiler was needed. The current one was 22 yrs old btw. Pauli , the installer, along with 3 other younger guys, did a fantastic efficient job. Thanks to all in taking an extremely expensive home repair into the realm of very little pain. Thanks guys. Job well done.

    Had them come in and check my heater and clean it out. They did a thorough inspection and cleaned it out. Gave me some information on the unit as I’m a new home owner. Over all very satisfied.

    I NEVER leave online reviews, but it’s my pleasure to write one for Gravener Heating & AC.

    I first met Gary Gravener in the mid-’90s when I called for a second opinion after another HVAC company tried to scare me into buying a new boiler in the dead of winter. Gary checked it out the next day, told me my system wasn’t cracked—it just needed a good cleaning—and then he serviced it for 24 more years until it was TRULY time to replace it in 2019.

    Gary decided long ago to build his business based on integrity—to work WITH clients to develop systems that best suit THEIR homes and businesses, not his own bottom line. And he instilled those same values in his son and business partner, Jim.

    I’ve happily referred Gravener Heating & AC to many friends and neighbors over the years, and ALL have expressed their appreciation for Gary and Jim’s honesty, integrity, and good nature.

    I just had our new heating system serviced today, less than 24 hours after calling and booking an appointment for two weeks out. Gary had a cancellation, and I’d said my calendar was flexible enough to reschedule if they had an opportunity to stop by sooner.

    That sort of responsive give-and-take—a service provider committed to working WITH customers, in a spirit of respectful cooperation—that’s what makes Gravener Heating & AC such a reliable service partner. And that’s why I’m ALWAYS happy to share their name with other good folks.

    Jim Gravener and his crew went above and beyond to get a new AC unit installed for us before our house guests arrived, despite a packed post-pandemic schedule. He took the time to explain everything to us and answered all our questions. He helped us avoid unnecessary expenses, worked on the weekend, returned to make sure the new system was working optimally, and generally made us feel he had our best interests in mind. A good combination of personable service and quality professional work from a family owned business.

    Dave was very nice and tried to help me troubleshoot the unit over the phone before coming out. My unit needed a new motor, so someone had to come out anyway, but I appreciated the effort. The technician who they sent was friendly and knowledgeable and explained the situation thoroughly. After the parts arrive in a couple of days they will be back out to do the repair. Very professional staff and extremely nice! Much appreciated!

    Since many will not read past the first few lines, let me say I was very satisfied with the service provided by Gravener's. Not only did they make the repair ahead of time, but they called me to give me an estimate of the costs and were able to re-schedule twice to an earlier time. I gave them five stars for a timely repair and for customer service. I highly recommend them.

    Gravener's scheduled my service for the afternoon of the day following my call. On the scheduled date, they called to let me know of an opening that morning if I were available and I was. The serviceman was polite and professional and was able to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, because of the age of the furnace, the replacement parts would need to be ordered and could take a couple of days. Gravener's followed up that day with a call to let me know the part was ordered and would be available in two days, so we scheduled an appointment for the afternoon of that day. I was surprised when I received a call the following afternoon that not only did they have the part, but the same serviceman was available to install it if I were available. I was and it took about a quarter-hour for the repair and inspection. This occurred in mid-November; although it was warm for this time of the year, it was still an uncomfortable temperature in the 60s, so I was very happy to get a quick resolution before more serious winter weather came.

    Todays visit was a follow-up to seasonal cleaning. They previously said they would return to fix leak from overflow drain. They advised they would return and they did. They did the follow up promptly. I have had them for the last several years do the annual checkup on my furnace and air conditioner. Always nice to deal with and trustworthy.
