SK Heating and Air Conditioning

I have used SK for multiple issues at multiple properties, most of which were not straight forward. He has always taken the time to get to the bottom of the problem and get it fixed while not trying to oversell me on what needs to be done. That combination is hard to find these days and why I won’t use anyone else. Highly recommend.

Good people deserve praise and Saki is a very good person. Full disclosure my husband left a positive review when Saki repaired our units after other companies had said they both needed replacing during a heat wave this summer. We were looking at 2 new units and a big price tag. I was skeptical that they would make it through the summer after he repaired a single part that made our downstairs unit work again and then diagnosed and fixed a bad breaker for our upstairs unit. I'm happy to say that both fixes worked and our units ran strong all summer long. Thanks again to Saki who for a minimal price saved us THOUSANDS this summer.

If you've got heating and air conditioning needs, I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's rare that you meet a contractor that's totally honest and looking out for your best interests, but that's what Saki from SK is. As an added bonus, he's completely professional and has great communication. I've used him twice to evaluate heating and air conditioning issues and I couldn't be happier to have found him. Give him a shot, if you're not happy with him, that's on you.

I’ve dealt with a few other HVAC companies in the last year. They were fine although sometimes not terribly organized. I just brought in SK to get another opinion and I’m really glad I did. I had been told I had a BIG problem. Turned out to be a super easy problem/solution that neither of the other companies had taken the care to notice. SK was in and out in 20 minutes and I wound up paying 5-10% of what I would’ve if I hadn’t called them.

I called SK on a cold Tuesday morning when my heater suddenly stopped working. I received a call back in less than 15 minutes. He was very helpful over the phone and came that morning. SK was extremely professional, courteous, thoughtful, helpful and very competent. My heater was up and running in less than hour. I was very impressed by his professionalism, diagnostic ability and skills. In this day and age of impersonal computer interactions, it was a blessing to talk to someone genuinely interested in helping solve a problem. I would gladly recommend SK to anyone who needs professional help with their heating and AC system. I will definitely stay as a loyal customer with this level of excellent service!

I called Saki during a holiday weekend and he was upfront about his packed schedule and when he could come out. Two days later, while I was still worried about replacing my entire furnace, he came out and simply cleaned it. It was working again in less than 20 minutes and for a very fair price. He is definitely the person I'll have on speed dial for maintenance and emergencies in the future.

I moved into a house where SK provided past maintenance for about 5 years on the AC. Wasn't working when I moved in so called. Technician came out three days later. He said the lines froze. So he turned it off and said could come back 4 days later at the earliest. (Current temp was in the 90s and I was moving in that weekend so was hoping for a little more problem solving mentality or just friendliness). Also asked about some other small improvements to the vents I wanted to make for cooling efficiency and aesthetics. Technicians response was literally "past owners never complained about that." I think that summed up SK's quality and eagerness to improve your heating and cooling system.

Called a different company and they came out that day. This other technician put in about 5-6 hours of work and got the system working. They said the service on the unit looked bad and was one of the dirtiest they had seen in a few years. He agreed that the vents and ducts could use some minor fixes and was surprised when I said another technician did not seem to care and simply turned off the AC and said would come back in four days.

Definitely will not be working with SK again and would advise against using this company for repairs or servicing.

The same issue done through a national company coat me literally 5 times the price. No upsell, no recommendations of more work, he fixed the issue cheaply and made it known that my unit would last with more small repairs.
