Winter's Heating & Air Conditioning

I am a local Realtor so I deal with trades a lot throughout my industry. I have to say that Melvin and his crew were absolutely impressive from start to finish! They were very responsive, kept me informed, arrived when they said they would and completed the installation of my furnace quickly! I am definitely referring them to my past and future clients and will absolutely utilize them again if needed!

I have used Winter's once before with no problem ( well except the technician wanted me to pay again or prove I already did) I have a home warranty which collects payment before they schedule a contractor. The contractors are aware of the home warranties procedures. So this second time they arrived at my home to repair my furnace and showed up without the part needed and claimed they had to get authorization from the warranty co. I've been with the same warranty co. for almost 20 years!! Showed up the next day after I called them again and charged my significant other after I had already paid. I spent 2 and 1/2 hours on the phone back and forth with Winter's and the Home Warranty Co. trying to get my money refunded for the double charge at Xmas time no less. Winter's then claimed they mailed the check on a Thursday but on the following Monday left a message that they were dropping it off at my home. Not sure how they dropped it off if it was already mailed. The furnace was repaired and I support a Veteran owned company as that is important to me and my family, but they were very dishonest to us.

Sorry, I do appreciate the work that was done, but still feel it was dishonest to tell the warranty company that the check was mailed on Thursday and then the following Monday deliver it!
Yes, my money was returned but only after i continued to follow up. As far as supply shortages, from what your people told me it wasn't a problem with getting the part but that your co. requires authorization to replace parts. In twenty years that has never happened. When you have gone two days in frigid temps. you would expect a heating/ac co. to come out prepared to repair or replace a small part. I also did call immediately when i found out that you had also charged me after the warranty co. did.So I did express this to you immediately as a matter of fact the same day within the first hours.

I was asked to give my review and that is the only reason I did.

Seth did a fantastic job assessing the issue with my hot water heater. He was very professional and informative. I felt like he absolutely knew what he was doing and will do a great job installing my new hot water heater. I highly recommend their services.

We’ve had a pretty terrible experience with our home warranty company that had been ongoing for months. However, Winter’s Heating and Air Conditioning was consistent with their communication and continued to reach out to us to make sure we knew what was going on. They also made contact with our home warranty company to advocate for our us. When the parts were finally ordered and delivered Winter’s was quick to setup an appointment and come to complete the job. I was very appreciative of them and the job they did!

Our contractor Steven came out to do a pre winter check. He was early, courteous and a consummate professional. Would not hesitate to call them for anything.
