RSC Heating & Air Conditioning has been wonderful to work with. My husband and I were in need of updating our AC and Furnace as well as relocating our current water heater. They were able to order everything and install in a timely manner. The workers were wonderful and actually left our space cleaner than before all the work was done. Shortly after install, we had an electrical issue (at no fault of theirs) and they were able to fix it promptly to get everything working how it should. Amazing company and products!

Would I recommend to a friend? Absolutely. The following has been my experience...

Scheduling:
Scheduling this service was very easy. There's an online form to request service. Once you fill that out, you receive a call from RSC verifying the work requested and to schedule the appointment (you could probably also call them directly and skip the online part). They are very professional, courteous, and patient. Since I didn't know what I needed, they worked with me and answered all of my questions to help me figure out what the best option would be.

Furnace Servicing:
I'm a new homeowner so the whole process of furnace maintenance is unknown territory to me. Chuck was great. He explained the process, what he needed to do, and why he was doing it. He was very courteous, always wore shoe covers, noticed the cat and made sure to ask if she was allowed outside, and even made sure to call 20 minutes ahead of time to let me know he was on his way.

When Chuck was finished, he gave me the rundown of his findings (which were also written on my copy of the work order). There were a few repairs that would be required but he didn't push for an immediate decision nor did he push for stay with RSC. He recommended going around and getting quotes to make sure that I get the best deal for me. He did provide quotes for the repairs through RSC which are all inclusive costs, no hourly rates or hidden fees. I think that has been one of the nicest things with RSC is the flat rate cost, there's nothing unexpected by the time they finish.

Payment is due at time of service. I was happily surprised that I was able to pay by credit card (they also accept cash and checks). It was very simple and completed in person with Chuck.

Update 2/2022:
My water heater unexpectedly went out on me. Steve (president of RSC) came out to give me a quote and within a day I had a new water heater installed! He even followed up with me the next day checking in to make sure everything went well. I can't speak higher of this company, they've always answered all of my questions and treated me right.

Update: It has been almost 2 years and every maintenance visit from RSC has been additionally helpful and informative. Steve has been very responsive to setting up appointments and answering questions. And, I've received great service from Chuck and Jason.

2019 First Review: Engaged RSC for heating, cooling, and hot water heater inspection and maintenance. Received an appointment quickly at a competitive price (I contacted two other services for estimates). Danielle called to keep me informed of Greg's arrival time. The best part of the entire experience was Greg's assistance in walking me through all three systems. As a first-time homeowner, he took the time to show me all the key parts I might need to manage, tips for optimal upkeep, and advice for settings. It was part maintenance and part tutorial.

RSC is the ultimate HVAC provider. Their quote was on target, they clearly explained what we were getting and took the time to listen to our concerns and answered all of our questions. The workmen were polite and clean. They provided a temporary air conditioner while our unit was being replaced. We always knew what to expect throughout the four days of the project. The owner of the company came on the first day to make sure we were introduced to the workmen and felt comfortable with them in our house. Really, the service was top notch. And, they completed the project ahead of schedule! I highly recommend RSC to anyone with HVAC needs.

RSC always does a great job when servicing our HVAC systems. We’ve been with RSC for 15 years now for two installations and maintenance. Greg was out today and did a thorough cleaning on our Mitsubishi mini split. Job was completed quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend RSC!

I would recommend RSC to anyone and everyone! We have had many houses over 38 years of military and federal service where we moved all across the US and overseas. RSC is the most professional business we have ever dealt with in all those years of always having some kind of replacement or repair needing done every time we moved. We had 5 different companies come to our current 65 year old home to give us an estimate on our unique a/c situation. Some told us they'd do it but not guarantee it because it was not under normal conditions; one refused to even give us a quote for the job because they said it couldn't be done; and some reluctantly gave us a quote but were not professional at all with communications - outright acted like it was a bother and they didn't want the job. Then we called RSC who came in ready to do whatever it took to get the job done and make us happy customers. They had an open mind with suggestions and plans that not only fit our current needs, but took into account that our other equipment was older and might need future replacement. They took pictures, measured everything and made drawings, and within two days gave us an acceptable proposal for the job with options to upgrade in the future. They came out two weeks later and installed the new equipment by having to reconstruct and adapt parts for our current older model oil furnace that has an outdoor wood furnace piped in. It took two days, and a lot of tedious work but they did it, and we could not be happier! The crew that did the installation knew their job and did it well while being clean, quiet and polite.
