First off, they are very responsive. Right now many home related service providers won't even get back to potential clients because demand is so high. But 72 Degrees is very good at getting back to potential and current clients. They also actually answer their phone, and the person who takes the calls is very pleasant/nice. All of the workers were personable and professional. During the quote for our new central AC, they presented 3 options and explained the tradeoffs without pushing for the most expensive, which we choose on our own. We had a slight miscommunication about pre-installation deck work, and 72 Degrees came up with a good solution to split the installation into two parts instead of the normal, single long appointment. The price was also in line with what we expected to pay for quality equipment and service in this area. I understand why a lot of people here recommend them.

I thought that this was going to be a very expensive repair. I was hesitant to pay a service charge just for coming out here, but Aaron didn’t overcharge me like two other AC repair companies did. I’ll be calling them for an AC maintenance check pretty soon. I am very happy that I called this company.

I was a customer with this company for about 5 years. Their work is fine as far as I can tell, but they price gouge. On their last service call, I was charged $99 for the technician to come out, then an additional $209 to replace a part that probably cost $30. Actual work time by the technician was less than 15 minutes. My brother-in-law had the exact same problem with his air conditioner and they got theirs fixed for about $100 less. I called the company and asked to speak to a manager. I was stone-walled by the administrative assistant who took a message and said they would get back to me. It's been over a week and nobody has returned my call, so their customer service is terrible too. I am very disappointed and will not be using this company again as there are plenty of other options who will do the work as well for a lot less.

Awesome job! Our A/C wasn't working and Trevor came by the same day we called. I couldn't be happier. Trevor quickly found a semi loose wire connection that had shorted out and compromised the dual capacitor. He said it was a level 2 job at $209 plus the $99 diagnostic fee. Fair enough. Took about 20 mins and everything is back to normal. Now, thinking level 2 means 2 hours of work required is erroneous. Jobs are not priced by the hour and their Straight Forward Pricing sheets explains this perfectly! Thanks again 72Degrees!

Our experience has been quite a bit different from these glowing reviews.
We purchased our Lennox unit from this company three years ago. Naturally, it failed last week during the hottest week(s) of summer, but that's just the end cap to this experience.

First - the system we had installed did not meet our needs. While it cools the bottom floor of our home adequately, the upstairs is typically 8-degrees, on average, hotter. Since this is primarily where we live and sleep, it would have been perhaps important for the sales person to tell us that one unit wouldn't be adequate for cooling a 2400 square foot residence. In other words: we don't feel like we got full disclosure when this was sold to us.

Because of the cooling issues upstairs, we had them come out to try to attempt a "fix", which was a costly service call to build a makeshift scoop to funnel more air upstairs. Did nothing, of course.

We had anorher tech out for routine maintenance for our upgraded filter system, but they didn't bring the right filter and left after installing one much less expensive than what we'd paid for. We were told they would "make it right," and that never happened.

Which brings us to the catastrophic until failure. We called, and of course no one could come out for several days. It's been over a week now, and I've paid another company to diagnose, which is how we know the issue. 72 degrees can come out, of course, but will also charge a diagnosis fee, as well as labor for fixing or replacing the 3-year-old unit.

My family, including our two year old, have been displaced from our house for over a week now. My wife called the company and asked for the owner to call back - which he never did.

Their website advertises "satisfaction or it's free." Does this sound like satisfaction? Are they going to make it right and fix it free? Is this blatant false advertising? Absolutely.

We paid two third party HVAC companies to assess the issue, since we have no confidence whatsoever in 72-degrees, because of two consecutive compressor failures, and they are indicating this unit may not have been initially installed properly.

With no response or caring by the company or owner, I am putting them on blast. They need to take care of their customers and stand behind their work, or there are consequences. In this case, a BBB complaint and likely legal action.

IMO - there are other reputable companies out there that truly are responsive. This is not one of them.

Great to have Trevor looking after our HVAC. Finding HVAC service has become so difficult, everyone just wants to sell you a new this or that and dishonesty has become the norm in this trade. Fortunately 72 Degrees seems to do things a little different. I recommend them for sure if you're looking for reliable, honest HVAC service/Repair.

We had our furnace fail during a cold spell. We called another company but they weren't able to help us for almost a week. When we called 72 Degrees they said they could come the next day but called us back and said they had a cancellation they came the same day. A part had to be ordered but they brought us space heaters to make sure we were warm enough until they could get the part installed. They also were very upfront about the possibility of another part failing because of the new part. Which of course it did so they brought us more heaters and ordered the next part and made sure to install it as soon as possible. I have to say this is the most caring considerate and kind group of people I have ever had to work with. I would use them anytime and recommend them to anyone who needs any kind of repair or service.

Air Pride (72 Degrees) installed our air conditioner and furnace 11 years ago. They have also serviced it since then and we couldn't be happier with their professionalism, honesty and work ethic. We would highly recommend this company should you need to install new furnace or air conditioning or just for maintenance of your exacting equipment. Top Notch

Steve, the owner, is as honest as they come. He sent someone out about 10 days ago to fix a condensation problem. So now I called them back because there was leaking from a new area. They re-plumbed the condensation discharge, and when I went to pay Steve said there would be no charge. Said they should have caught this additional problem on their first visit. Quality work and a quality company all the way around.

Charged $100 diagnosis and then an additional $400 to replace a gas valve. Quoted 2 hours of labor but actual repair only took 20 minutes. Spoke with the manager about the disparity he was polite and offered to knock $25 off but not willing to make right the fact that they had over-estimated their labor time by 400%. Nothing like the good ol' zip code based gouge. I recommend finding a firm willing to admit mistakes and make them right.
