Our heat pump died during the 100 degree weather and we had the quickest and most efficient replacement installed within days. The whole process, from meeting Randy who reviewed our needs, to the installers, was quick, efficient, and seamless. The followup visit was nice, helpful, and unexpected.

Poor experience. Months ago, we used Pacific Air Comfort to perform the annual maintenance on our heat pump and furnace and every interaction was rushed and resulted in us being worse off than before we called.

First warning sign was when my wife needed to call me because the technician didn't know where the filter on the furnace was located so he could change it.

After performing the maintenance the outside temperature gauge no longer worked. After multiple calls and confusion around if they would fix it, they came out a second time to fix the gauge. After leaving, it still was broken - he didn't take the one minute to verify? After a third visit, it was fixed but not until the technician arrived hours late. Each time we had a different technician sent to us - we weren't impressed with any of them.

The topper was today when I went to change the air filter and they never replaced it - we've been running it filterless for months - really!?!?

    Great service recovery!
I’m back to update my review from 4 days ago. Daryl did an excellent job. He showed up on time and took care of the annual maintenance. He was professional, very patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything he was doing. Pacific air is really lucky to have him on their team. I give him 5 stars. I will definitely request him in the future if possible.

    Below is my initial review.

I scheduled a maintenance appointment 2 weeks ago. Technician didn’t show at a 9:30 scheduled appointment. I received a call noticing me that they are behind schedule and tech should arrive between 10:30 to 11. At noon, no one showed and no notification was made. I called back to reschedule, I’ve been told the service coordinator is on the phone and should call me back. At 12:45, I still didn’t receive any call back. Not until 12:50 before I was able reschedule and I was never told why they didn’t show.
We all have things to do, but to ruine and waste someone’s day like this isn’t fair. If you know you’re not gonna make it, just say itI don’t have to wait an entire day.
    I’m extremely disappointed.
Giving them 3 stars just because of the acceptable experience I had with them the first time around. Will see how they do on the second appointment and I will update this review

Have had a home heat pump and furnace installed and maintained by PAC for years. Naturally we used them for our apartment ductless heat pump. Very pleased with them and the electrical contractor they partner with. Definitely recommend!

Beware!! They give false quotes on the phone. Then bill more after the service.:( I called several places. Went with this company because she said it would be $80.00.
That was $40.00 less than the others.
The person who came out was good did a decent job. He then told us it would be $150.00. I said no Samantha said $80.00
So I called her. She put me on hold, came back and said. You live in Springfield? I said no Eugene .oh I thought you were in Springfield. It's $150.
I said I will never use your services again. She said oh well , have a nice day. The man who came out appligized. It was not his fault.
Beware they lie on the phone.

These folks are great! They came out and really took the time to assess the home and they were spot on with the estimates. They even came back after the installation to go over the controls and maintenance. I was extremely pleased with their work and professionalism. And now they also donate to the humane society every time a unit it purchased - so if you love animals, go with these guys.

I spent thousands of dollars to have pacific air install a gas furnace and ductwork. I took a year for them to get the permit to pass And I had to schedule and take time off work to meet with the inspector. They did give me the phone number to do this. The system cooks one room out while letting others freeze, when asked, they told me to adjust dampers to balance the system. Their job but ok. Climbed into the attic. Low and behold no dampers, but I did find that my insulation was pulled back from the vents and not replaced. Literally a dozen locations where insulation was pulled back to the drywall. My advice would be to try any other company, couldn't be worse.

I'm am beyond upset with this company!!!! They just came out last week (our 1 year warranty just expired). They charged us $109 to change a filter!!! They could have told us that over the phone but the staff they have working there are so rude. Today, A WEEK LATER, my thermostat just shut off. The girl said I have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to get a technician to come out (mind you, it's going to be 95° and i have two babies at home. It's already 80° in the house). She said there's nothing she can do to troubleshoot over there phone because she doesn't know what system it is, although i have ALL the information in front of me. Now they are going to charge me another diagnostic fee. I'm extremely frustrated and NO ONE within the company has any sympathy. The only answer i got was, there are a lot of people ahead of you with the EXACT same issue! Umm... what does that tell you? I'm hoping they will make this right! As of now, I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Two years ago Pacific installed a ductless system for me. Several days ago I had water running down the inside of my garage wall. When I went into my attic I found several gallons of water on the insulation and drywall. The water was coming from a hose connected to the main head unit in my house. This hose was supposed to be connected to a pvc pipe which leads outside. When Pacific did the installation, they connected the pvc pipe to the hose where the water comes out with duct tape. This duct tape was supposedly meant to support and hold up the weight of the pvc pipe. When I called Pacific, the technician told me I was outside of the installation warranty and they had not installed it incorrectly. He told me they would not be responsible for he damages to my attic. He told me how to fix the issue by putting the hose back into he pvc pipe and then use zip ties to support the weight of the pvc pipe around the attic joists or other pipes in the area. Shouldn't they have done this in the first place?!
Today I had Priority heating and air conditioning check out my system. The technician told me his company definitely would not have used the same or similar process/materials to instal the system.
I have expressed my frustrations with Pacific and they are not concerned about making things right. Chris Waggoner

Gabriel was prompt, efficient and was informative about our furnace problem. Reasonable pricing. He knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it right away. He made recommendations for our particular unit as well.
