Tommy and Sean were great to work with! I highly recommend Central Air. They were responsive and patient, as I had many questions during the process. Sean also finished the installation much faster than I had anticipated, so that was really nice.

First, let me be clear that I have not had the opportunity to use this company for HVAC or plumbing services. I contacted them about an HVAC predicament that I am in to see if they would be able to help me out.

The reason for this review has more to do with their professionalism and compassion in taking the time to not only respond, but to respond in a thoughtful and informative manner.

Dan responded to my inquiry within a few hours. He researched the situation a bit before calling and was respectful and as helpful as he could possibly be.

While he was unable to help me with the project at hand, I am grateful that he took the time out of his busy schedule to respond and provide me with some of the information I need to make an educated decision about ways to move forward. Most of the other companies I have reached out to have either just dismissed me quickly with a "we can't help you" or not responded at all.

Kudos to Central Air for their respect, compassion, and thoughtful feedback.

These folks came out and helped me after the ice storms a couple of years ago after a different business left me and the kids without heat for 5 days. I've used them since. Last time they came by to service my furnace, I decided to sign up for their priority membership program. Such a great decision. Just had my A.C. prepped for summer. These folks are always available, proactive and honest. I'm not surprised to see their rating on here. Stand up business.

I've already given 2 very good reviews, but here is the paradox: they keep asking and making me think more about it - now I'm also thinking that, despite the good work (so far), the cost of Central Air is quite high. I will be shopping around and maybe get a similar experience at a more reasonable cost. Thanks much!

A water heater replacement was close to $2600 (took only 3 hours for a new $1200 unit, including driving), and a quote to just *remove* an old, broken garbage disposal in the kitchen was ~$800.

Consider this: ~$466 per hour to replace a water heater… ? I understand overhead, but caveat emptor?

I had an excellent experience with Central Air Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. Matthew was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He was able to diagnose the issue with my system in a matter of minutes and promptly solve the problem. Highly recommend!

I worked directly with Andrew, the Owner, for purchase, quoting, and mockups. I worked with Tim and his team for installation. Tim and his team were professional and efficient. We had a couple hiccups just because of the design of the house, but they were responsive, explained the situation, and presented a couple different options to choose from on how best to proceed, particularly when it came to the HVAC installation outside. They were thorough in their installation and clean-up, and worked swiftly and without unnecessary delay. Ultimately, the furnace and HVAC installation took two days but that is more of a reflection of the amount of work to be done rather than any issues with the installation itself. The unit works like a charm and I am very satisfied both with Andrew and his company and Tim and his service team.

Frank has been out before and I have always found him to be well educated about his job and happy to share information with us as homeowners. The office was a little slow to respond this time requiring three messages were left over the course of a week before we got a call back and then the day they were supposed to come out there were a no show / no call. Frank came out the next day and apologized for the delay.

Extremely efficient, good communication, solid service overall. But $3550 just to replace the water heater and 2 toilets? Honestly, it's a DIY-able job I could've done within a few hours for less than $1K if I'd known then (2022) what I know now. If you don't want to do it yourself & are willing to over-pay for super fast installation services, go for it. We didn't experience any negative issues, I'm just shocked by the costs in hindsight. At least I've since learned the value of getting multiple estimates and I hope anyone reading this reflects on their priorities before agreeing to anything (do you want reasonable prices or expedient service? Central Air delivers on service satisfaction, not so much on price reasonability).

Great Customer Service! We have used Central Air previously at another home for AC installation and it went very well!
We just had an AC/Heat Maintenance done at our current home and our tech Mathew was awesome and very informative on the whole process!
