We have always had exceptionally good service from this company. A few years ago, they installed a Trane high efficiency furnace. They worked in a timely manner and with due diligence - with minimum disruption. Since then, we have worked with Dan Mullenix (a lot of the time) Levi Pennington and Tim. They work well as a team. They have serviced the furnace and the Air-conditioning regularly. All technicians are truly knowledgeable and professional. The billing has always been reasonable. Great communication skills. I am always happy with the service and the people. We highly recommend them.

When my AC unit failed on the hottest weekend in the history of Oregon, I walked into their office and even though it was a madhouse, I was talked to with kindness, respect, and then gentleman even took the time to drive to my house to fix my AC as an existing customer.

The latter scenario impacted my family as the inside of our house was 92 degrees and just finding any time to offer to try to fix my AC was unexpected. But it solidified me and my family as a A Action customer for life.

We recently had air conditioning installed for the first time in our home. Brett and his crew did an amazing job. From the initial consultation to the the actual installation which included clean up and removal of all debris A-Action worked diligently to complete the work and it was clear that our comfort and concerns were important to them. I have been a service contract customer for many years. During a recent service, it was discovered I needed a new furnace. I was given a competitive quote. Installation was thorough and complete. The team had to do some additional work to work around the existing duct work. The team was very contentious, clean, and friendly. They stayed very late and got the furnace running, as the temperature was to be in the low 40s overnight. I highly recommend them for install and maintenance.

My air conditioner went out during the 112 degree weather in Portland this month. My system is 25 years old so I figured I would need a whole new system. My neighbor had a great experience with A Action and suggested I give them a call. Well, A Action sent Levi to check my system and I was amazed and astonished that he repaired my air conditioner and had it up and cooling in less than an hour. I was over the moon happy that he was able to make the repairs. Levi was very professional and knowledgeable. Believe me, when I do need to replace my heating and air conditioning system, it will be with A Action.

Been using A-Action Heating & Cooling to service my furnace and AC for the past 15 years. Needed to replace the 20 year old Trane AC this year so I naturally asked for a quote from A-Action, along with another local company. Brett gave me a very competitive quote and answered all my questions. Del and Scott did the installation a couple of days ago, and they were professional and friendly. The AC installation passed the city inspection (no surprise there). Highly recommend A-Action, great people and great service!

Update: this summer has been unbelievably hot, with 90+ and even 100+ days, I would not have survived with the old AC unit. Also, wanted to thank Brett for helping me fill out the EnergyTrust rebate, I just got the check today!

Would recommend them to anyone in the area. They were easy to work with from quote to installation. I’m currently renting, so communication was easy and straight forward on my end. The men who came to install were kind and respectful, they got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Kind enough to show me their work and how it was installed and we’re just friendly people. They were punctual and arrived right on schedule which was so nice also let me know they’d be leaving for lunch. Having been home alone, I felt comfortable and safe with them around my home. Again, great company to work with.

Tim and A-Action have been servicing my homes for over 30 years. He and his crew are always courteous, pay attention to detail, and do great work at a fair price. You can buy parts too if you know what you’re doing.

He recently replaced a 30yr old furnace with a Trane 95% efficient furnace and AC unit. No small job including ducting changes, etc. I couldn’t be happier. When I made the decision to update, he was the only person on my list to do the job. I highly recommend this company if you want quality service at a reasonable price.
