We had several HVAC companies check out our furnace and Garoken did not use any scare tactics, were professional, had a good selection of options, were reasonably priced and we decided to have them replace our furnace and it has worked well since, even got a much better air filter system out of it. They came back later to run an additional wire to our AC unit and Nest because our wiring needed to be updated for it to work properly and they did a good job and were reason priced. We've been very pleased and would recommend.

We used Garoken Energy to install a furnace and central air-conditioning unit. The process was excellent form the initial contact and estimate to the finished job. Their staff is professional and knows the business. They have performed a checkup on the air-conditioning unit too. I highly recommend them.

I don’t even remember how I found Garoken, but I haven't stopped recommending them even though it’s been years since they replaced my furnace! Just this week a coworker was freezing in her home and I recommended Garoken to help fix her furnace. They installed my furnace in a timely way even though it required extra permits (because of a quirk of where I live). They were nothing but professional—you can’t go wrong with Garoken.

Several years ago I'd had another major HVAC company give me a quote for an AC install. I DIY some things and--although an AC install is outside my comfort zone--had done a little bit of my own research before they came out. Some of the things they stated didn't sound right to me at the time (insisting I must upgrade my thermostat even though I knew it had the functionality for AC, as well as relocate it, insist that I buy a certain model of AC unit, etc). Felt like a total upsell situation.

I called Garoken for a second opinion. What a breath of fresh air. The interaction was much more comfortable than with the major HVAC company, and in the end I was given three quotes, for three tiered models. I was surprised because all three of the quotes were lower than the other company (ranging from cheaper price with the highest end unit to MUCH, MUCH lower price for the same unit).

Thinking this too good to be true, I explained what the other company's rep had said "needed to be done." Garoken gave me the pros vs cons of doing it that way, with the final explanation of, "so yeah, we can do that too if you want, but it's already this way so you might as well keep it." The thermostat I already had been around for many years, but was the same model they still recommend. In the end she even recommended I go with one of the two cheaper models because of it's location (the more expensive models have cheaper operating costs but the true difference is noise and since mine is located on the far side of my garage noise isn't as much of an issue as if it were near my bedrooms).

In the end, I ended up saving well over $1k from the other quote, and the install was just as good. They even fixed my furnace drain issue while they were at it!

I've been recommending Garoken ever since, and a couple years ago again put my money where my mouth was when I wanted a gas fireplace insert installed. I didn't even bother with another quote. Just called Garoken, emailed the dimensions and they gave a quote, told me what was available, and we got them scheduled.

Long and short of it all, great family owned and run business that has not disappointed me at all. I highly recommend!

I have been very pleased with Garoken Energy. They maintained my old Lennox furnace over the years and recently replaced it with an updated model. They have always been great to work with, very personable and easy to communicate with. Their work is excellent.

Garoken Energy is simply the best HVAC company in Washington Co., period. We moved into an older '80s house, when the old furnace was at about 78% efficiency. We had Garoken install the new Furnace - saved $$$$. But!!!!!!s Here is the main point. We only had wall A/C - Donna & crew were so smart they asked us if we ever wanted to do A/C forced air. YES, my wife wanted to have A/C done - so they were able to save us $$$$$$ by installing a pre-coupler with our Heat Furnace - & then 1 yr. later we did the A/C.!!!! If they wouldn't have asked us !st it would have cost a lot more to later tear out furnace & install a/c.

They installed my furnace several years ago. They did a great job. Our Daikin system broke last week. They came out quickly and diagnosed the issue within 30 minutes. They had the parts in a few days and had it fixed the day after the parts came in. During the weekend we were waiting for the parts, our furnace stopped working. So all our heat sources were broken at the same time (Murphy and his law...). I called them. It was late on Friday. She was amazing. She offered to let me borrow portable space heaters until they could get here Monday. When I told her what the furnace was doing, she immediately knew what was wrong and told me how to fix it. She was right. I had my furnace working again within 30 minutes and it didn't cost a dime. I love these guys.

I have utilized Garoken Energy for over 20 years. They have installed a furnace, an air conditioner, and performed maintenance and repairs for me over this period. I have always found their work to be excellent and reliable. I recommend them highly!
