We called to have our AC looked at, they fit us in right away and had a technician here in within 15 minutes. The technician was knowledgeable and thorough and was able to repair it on the spot! Our AC unit went out on Sunday and when we got home our house was 90゚ inside. With the hotter weather coming for the week we knew we were in big trouble. I called several companies nobody could come and even look at it for 7 to 14 days. I then called Mike's and got a appointment the same afternoon. The technician JD came out on time and diagnosed and fixed it and was gone within an hour. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it and highly recommend this company.

Mike's Heating and Air Conditioning came out to our house in 2019 to repair our thermostat. The technician came to our property, switched a wire in our furnace, charged us $209 and the thermostat didn't work afterward. We had to call another company to come out and fix the thermostat. I contacted the company to talk with the Office Manager or President and ask for a refund. Nobody returned my call. Fast forward to December 2020, obviously I forgot about our experience with the company and reached out a few weeks ago to get a quote to install a natural gas line at our home. They scheduled to come out tomorrow and indicated it would cost $109 to get a quote, the cost of which would apply to the future service if performed within 60 days. Today, an office assistant contacted me and said they wouldn't perform work here and needed to cancel the appointment for tomorrow. I asked why and the assistant said that there was something that happened in 2019 and we had requested a refund. I asked if she could provide more information and she put me on hold to check in with someone else. She came back and said she checked in with the office manager and president and said that they just wouldn't come back out to perform work here. I asked if I could talk with the office manager or president to better understand the situation and she said both were unavailable. I said okay and decided it was best to work with another company rather than leave messages for the office manager and president to call me back, which they likely wouldn't do since they hadn't done so previously. Again, the company is highly unprofessional, doesn't complete repairs and doesn't talk with customers.

A technician named JD arrived today and fixed the issue very quickly. JD was very nice, polite and very professional and even gave us tips to prevent the issue in the future. Super impressed with the level of service and we’ll definitely be using them for all our HVAC needs! Thanks guys!!
I have never left a bad review but I am today. This was the worst customer service I have ever had. We had used them before and the older gentleman last year was great. When I called to make the appointment I had some questions. However, they had updated their system and now have no records of previous services. Okay, not helpful but we will move on. We had them out to check our air conditioning unit. My daughter, who is 18, was home when they arrived and after the inspection they said to call the office and let them know if we wanted to fix it or replace it/check the warranty. I asked if I needed to give them my credit card and he said to just pay when I called the office. I called 3 times and was told I would receive a call back. One of the times the office girl couldn't find notes on the service, the other times I was told the service man would call back and no one ever did. Then I get a bill in the mail with a fee for not paying it that day. I called the office and the woman said I was charged because I didn't pay that day. What?! I explained the whole thing, how I called and never got a call back and told her I really need to talk to the service guy so we can figure out what to do. She left a 4th message for the service guy and I told her I wanted to just pay it but that I wouldn't pay the fee. About 1 week after I paid the service guy called back. Wow. I asked him the questions we had and told him I would talk to my husband. Just called back and they put a block on our address for not paying the fee. I am stunned. I reminded her of what happened and she said the management put it on there and she can't change it. I told her I didn't want her to as I would never use them again but it was disappointing that they aren't the company they used to be. Sad and disgusted as this used to be a great business.

When calling back I was told I would need to pay again for a diagnostic fee when I just paid a few weeks for them to look at it. I would not recommend this company. From a quick scan of all the reviews in the Albany area you can see Mike’s is rated the lowest and I think that speaks for itself.
Checked my heating system because it is constantly running and it’s using excessive electricity. Found major “home owner repair disaster “. System should have been replaced.
Cody showed up at my house during the designated time frame and was very professional from the get-go. He quickly figured out what the issues were with my air conditioning system and was able to get us back online very quickly. The price was also affordable. I greatly appreciate the professionalism of this business and will definitely recommend them to friends and family.
