    Chad is always a delight and very personable. He is quick and honest and with his work. He lets us know up from the problem, the price and the length of service to fix it. I personally ask for him whenever I need hvac to come to my home for any reason including annual maintenance!

    The contractor made a big deal to my grandmother about how the existing unit was installed poorly and a piece of junk, tried selling her a new one, yet 3 other contractors proved it was new, done right except for a micro leak, and just needed a little refrigerant. This company tried to take advantage of the elderly by badmouthing local contractors, the one specifically who tried to sell us even called the former contractor and told them to kill themselves in front of my grandmother to gaslight their story. Terrible experience.

    It is frustrating that you will not give a price over the phone of what a typical repair to replace a wax ring costs. You know how much that costs. It is an estimate. No one will hold you to that if there is additional work. $500 to replace a $5 wax ring in less than an hour is ridiculous. You hook people in with an automatic trip fee and figure people will just pay since they are already have out there. This is unethical in my opinion.

    We had our entire HVAC system replaced by Summer’s. We have been very pleased as it has worked without any issues for 2 years. Summer’s comes out periodically for scheduled maintenance per our contract. On Monday Jan 30th 2023, the technician came out and performed the scheduled maintenance and told us it was in great condition and “ready for winter”. The very next day, the system went down. I called them and they sent a tech out and after a long period of testing this and that, he said the circuit board was having issues. I was told if it acts up again then we should replace it.
    I was then charged $59 for the visit. I asked how I should be held responsible as the visit the day before certainly caused the issue or at least, should have been caught then. The tech said it was a weird coincidence but it was policy and I had to pay. I paid the extortion and let him know I was unhappy about it. Before this happened, I would definitely have recommended them, now I’m not so sure. When brand new equipment breaks down or causes issues 24 hours after “maintenance”, how is that my fault? Why did I have to pay for the visit?

    Summers is professional, always give you a heads up 15-30 minutes before technician arrives. Great customer service and goo quality service when it comes to preventive maintenance.

    Summers has been great for us all year—showed up on the fly when our furnace and AC unit went out due to a power surge. They came out three days straight just to try and patch it for us during the hottest week of the year and did a great job.

    Caleb was excellent and returned for our annual AC tune up and cleaning, and today for our Furnace servicing as well! Always thoughtful and respectful, explains what’s happening and why (if there’s a problem) and comes up with solutions.

    Definitely recommend the service plan to protect your investment! The monthly cost is more than worth the service we get and I highly recommend!

    I’m so impressed, and grateful that Summers came out and fixed our heat. Our heat went out Christmas Eve temperature in the negative that week and our house temp was 58 degrees. He had been out all day fixing customer issues and still came and made sure we weren’t in the cold for Christmas Day. Forever thankful !
