Deer Heating and Cooling

Rob arrived right on time to fix our whole-house humidifier. He efficiently and effectively analyzed the repair required and restored its functionality. I previously called the HVAC system original installer, a well-known Dayton-area HVAC company (think a company beginning with Lo_ _ _), who charged me $109.00 and sent out a technician who had no clue what he was doing. His only answer to addressing my humidifier issue was to insist that he could install a new one for ~$1000. Rob took care of my problem for a little more than 1/10th that cost and it works just fine. Deer and Rob offered me a fix with a knowledgeable pro. Thank you.

Casey and Andrew were great. I believe the third man’s name was Jay, but unfortunately I didn’t have his name written down and I’m terrible remembering. Tom, the guy who did the quote, started it all by putting me at ease with what could be accomplished and at a price I could afford. Def the cheapest of the quotes I got and with a company with great reviews. Then the other 3 guys came in and did the install of a new furnace and a new intake in the ceiling. They were polite and friendly and quick. Everything looks and works great. I’ll be sure to use Deer again for my upcoming A/C replacement next year.

This company went above and beyond for me once again. Starting with Deer’s consultant, Tom, who found me a sooner appointment than initially given so I’d have the repair done before I left out of town. Then, John and Casey were my technicians that did the installation. Their professionalism and efficiency was impeccable. They communicated the entire process to me as well as answered any and all questions I had during and/or after. I 100% recommend them for any heating/cooling needs.

This is my first time working with Deer heating. They did a phenomenal job. From the initial call to finished, smooth transitioned. They installed my furnace. Josh show me how to change my filter and the correct size to buy. He also show me how to change my Carbon monoxid device. Rodney work me through the thermostat. They were very professional and very polite. I would definitely recommend them and work with them in the future.

Deer installed my HVAC unit in 2015. Since then, I had been using CJS for my seasonal maintenance because they offered a substantial discount for military. However, when I called CJS to diagnose a problem I had with my humidifier, they couldn't--or wouldn't--tell me exactly what the problem was. I was pretty sure it was a faulty thermostat, but I couldn't get a straight answer, even after the technician spent 2 hours troubleshooting.

After he left, I did what I should have done to start with: I called Deer. The technician arrived when promised and almost immediately found that I did have a broken thermostat. The best part was when he told me my system was still covered under warranty! All I had to pay was a trip charge. That's integrity in action.

Great service and great installers! It took them a day to install my ac and furnace but it so quiet I can’t even tell it is on anymore. The guys who installed it were friendly and efficient. Their work is amazing! I recommend them to anyone who wants quality and professionalism!

The service person was pleasant and answered my many questions with reasonable answers. They performed the service professionally. This service person was the first that didn't abuse the sheet metal screws with the power screw driver.

First time customer. Deer was quick to schedule and punctual arriving at the job. Very happy with their service and will remain a customer!
