We used Fred‘s home service because our heater seemed to be running inefficiently. The woman on the phone was very helpful and actually tried troubleshooting over the phone but before scheduling an appointment, I really appreciated that. When Ed showed up at our house he quickly determined what the issue was and he took the time to teach me about our furnace and show me some additional troubleshooting tips. I really appreciate the time that he took to teach me. We would use Fred’s any day!

I have steam heat in my house, although it's a relatively simple setup, it is still quirky, not everyone knows. Been having Fred's service my boiler for years, this year the heat exchanger cracked so had to get a new boiler. Was a big job, they brought plenty of help, they were all professional and hard working. The boiler was replaced in a matter of days, and I discovered my old boiler was undersized for my house. Now all the radiators get hot! They know what they are doing! Prompt, professional, quality and they cleaned up after themselves. Big fan!

Fred's Home Services replaced my gas furnace along with adding with a new humidifier. Originally they thought the A/C unit might need to be replaced, but since it isn't that old, the service manager figured out a way to rework the duct work so a new A/C unit wasn't needed. The team arrived on time and worked diligently all day. The service manager returned on a subsequent Saturday to correct a small leak involving the pump for the humidifier. Owner Steve is professional and responsive. I was very pleased with the pricing, product and service provided by Fred's.

[HOME WARRANTY CUSTOMERS] My home warranty company was not straightforward with me about my claim and what services would be provided. Ask for full information regarding the claim that they create for you. Ask exactly what they are going to have a tech do or else you will be disappointed and you will find out $75 later that your problem will persist because of your mismanaged claim.

The technician who came to my home was knowledgable and insightful. He answered all of my questions and provided the services that I was initially expecting. My daughter was having a problem with her furnace not working consistently. I called Fred's Home Services on Friday after Thanksgiving and a person came out that day ahead of the time given for his arrival. He diagnosed the problem quickly and gave her furnace an overall check up at very reasonable price. My daughter was surprised at their efficiency and reasonable price. I have used Fred's Home Services over the years they replaced my furnace installed my central air and done all the routine maintenance on the systems over the years.They also put in new duct work in my basement to install another heating vent. We have had Fred’s service our heating/air conditioning for years! The home warranty company tends to send them first, and we have had excellent results. This last week, our furnace went out mid-morning. I called, and the company was able to contact Ed Simeral, the technician, who promptly appeared, diagnosed the problem, contacted the company, and ordered the part. When the part came in, he picked it up at 8am, and was at our house shortly thereafter. His caring and professionalism speaks volumes about Ed himself, and also the company that employs him.
