I recently had Collins Cooling and Heating install a new Rheem A/C. Steve provided a competitive quote that was lower than the 3 other companies that I contacted. Many companies refuse to give estimates without visiting the property, but Steve was nice enough to provide an estimate over the phone. Before confirming everything, I emailed him pictures of the existing unit. He didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need. The installation crew was friendly and installed the unit in about 4.5 hours.

I had an old furnace and a/c replaced with new equipment. Steve went over all my options and explained everything very thoroughly and gave me a decent price. The crew installed everything in about 5 hours and were courteous and friendly. I really like the install they did, it is well done and everything is tidy and professional. Very impressive and honest company!

Steve & his team just did our system a few days ago and we love it! We got a fair quote (better than the other 2 we received), and we really loved talking with Steve personally and hearing his honest opinions and recommendations. The team was clean and efficient, and they went out of their way to install the unit in a different part of our yard so we could make room for our new deck. Highly recommend!

Steve is knowledgeable and professional and offered great consultation and recommendations. I was especially impressed that he came out personally to inspect and help finish the job.

Oh and BTW, his price and equipment quality were far superior to that of his competition. Steve gave me one of Rheem's highest grade furnaces and AC units for less than what the Carrier and even other Rheem contractors were trying to sell me lower grade models for.

Collins had the best pricing by far out of three companies I contacted, saved me $1000 on a new furnace and AC! Steve and his crew were top notch, friendly and very knowledgable. Not only did they get the entire job completed in one day but they cleaned up after themselves unlike some other experiences I've encountered. I would recommend their services to anyone needing some HVAC work done!

I called Mark about my AC unit smelling like it was burning. He came out the next day at the time he gave me and was very professional. He covered his feet before coming into my house and wore a mask. He was very knowledgeable about my situation and thoroughly looked for a solution. He made sure before he gave a diagnoses that he crossed all his T’s and dotted all his I’s. He didn’t try to replace something or charge me for something that wasn’t needed. I will definitely keep his company in mind and call again if ever I have an issue with my heating or cooling. Thank you so much for such great service and professionalism!

10/15/2015 Update: I thought I had a problem with my new furnace when I turned it on for the winter. It wouldn't heat. I called Collins Cooling & Heating and they had a tech here the same day. It turns out that my electrician had shut off the power to the furnace and there was nothing wrong with my furnace. Boy do I feel stupid!
The tech from Collins was totally understanding and didn't even charge me for the service call. He even tried to tell me that it was something that a homeowner wouldn't normally be expected to know and it was OK.

I have dealt with numerous contractors over the last 10 years regarding my properties here in Cleveland. Clearly, Steve and his technicians are top notch.; Professional , knowledgeable and personable doesn't come close to describing my experience with the installation of a new Furnace-A/C system today. On a scale of 1 to 10, they bust the scale and are a 12 !! When I have future heating and cooling needs for my other properties, I know who I will call. Great job !!

Steve put AC in our first Lakewood home with no ducting/radiators and the price was phenomenal for him to run ducts to the first and 2nd floors, air handler and condenser. House is so cool, you'd never know it was a retrofit! When we moved to a larger home down the street, we hired him again and he was available, punctual and again, the price was way below everyone else. I challenged him a bit with not wanting to rip up any flooring on the 3rd floor and he found ways around it and listened to everything I asked. Can't recommend enough.
