Central Heating & Air Conditioning

Central installed our mini-split system and continues to do all the preventive maintenance work. Their recent visit was to replace a defective part. They went over and above to get the unit back in operation and mitigate the 90 degree temperatures. We continue to be extremely happy with both their work and their work ethic.

The staff at Central are all amazing. The technicians are polite and knowledgeable, the office staff are always polite and energetic. I highly recommend this company for any heating/cooling needs!!

Excellent experience! Called in for emergency service when the air conditioning unit at my 95 year old mother's home decided to stop working yesterday. The schedule was booked solid when I called for service, but Stewart Unsdorfer, the owner, was able to stop by her home in Lyndhurst and quickly assess & fix the issue. When have you ever heard of the owner of a company actually making a service call? Service rate was extremely reasonable, too! Central really cares about its customers and we are blessed to be able to count on Central Heating and Air Conditioning for all of our furnace and air conditioning needs in any kind of weather. Even a pandemic doesn't slow them down!

In 2014 I needed a new furnace. I got 5 estimates and decided to go with Central Heating and Air. Stu was thorough and patient with all of my questions. I was wavering between getting a 1 or 2 stage furnace and he went through the positives and negatives of each. Recently, he came by and gave his opinion about some issues with the furnace in our new house. He is direct and no nonsense. Highly recommend.

Absolutely outstanding service! From scheduling to the amazing customer service of our technician Ken, our experience with this company has been flawless. Ken was unbelievably knowledgeable and walked us through every step of the process! As younger, new home owners we really appreciated the fair, honest and neighborly values this company exemplified.

Everyone at Central Heating and Air are awesome. From the friendly, responsive staff that answers incoming calls to the service individuals who work at our home with efficiency and skill. Everyone has always been respectful, on time, and professional. In my opinion, they are excellent. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Not only was central heating accommodating, but they were timely and professional. My heater gave out and they were there same day to repair. The repair was well communicated and the work was done properly at a cost that was more than reasonable

Central Heating installed a HVAC system complete with duct work because we didn't have any. They worked on some very cold days outside and in the attic as well. I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the customer service, Stew (the owner) and the experience of EVERY ONE of his crew! They were careful and very neat and clean EVERYDAY. I'm particular! The superb attention they showed to doing the best they could to have the equipment and everything running to it turned out to look very professional and had a neat appearance. Again, I'm particular!
They came back several times to address a couple of concerns I had and were able to satisfy me.
I hired Central because I knew they were experienced but I also now know they won't leave me hanging in the event of any problems in the future. That gives me peace of mind and I highly recommend them!
