The gentleman that came to work on our unit was very polite and professional. My husband was home and said that everything went smoothly and he was very pleased with how it went.
The office personnel is a different story. I called mid week to set up an appointment for our HVAC unit to be serviced since it had been a few years since it had been done. The woman I spoke with seemed very nice. I told her that I needed the 9-11 time slot and she told me the amount due. I also gave her our home number since I would be at work and my husband would be the one here to let the serviceman in. The day before the service call, I get a text saying our scheduled time is 1-3. My husband had planned on doing several things on his day off, hence asking for the early time, so them changing the time on us wasn’t planned. He called the morning of the service call to double check the time and said the man he spoke with made it seem like it was our mistake and was very rude. But being the kind soul that he is, my husband just gave that man his cell number and asked for that number to be called. Fast forward to about 1:15. I get text messages, a phone call, and a voice mail on my cell phone saying the serviceman was at the house. So asking that the other numbers be called was a waste of time. Also, we were not told there would be tax added to the amount due, so my husband had already written a check, but had to write a new one. We have to pay for our checks. Between not clicking the right times, giving out wrong due amounts, not being able to follow simple customer requests, and bad attitudes, Logan’s needs some new office personnel.
The technician was highly professional, straight forward & socially engaging.. He explained what he checked/did & did not try to rip me off (as, I know a little something about home A/C units). This was a “glitch in the matrix”. I will call Logan again for service.
The gentleman who helped us today is awesome. He was here for our last check-up. I should have remembered his name and I apologize for that. I like that he explains everything and is thorough. We have been using Logan for 7 years and have never had a problem with them!
Very professional and arrived on time as always. We have used them for over 15 years for our yearly maintenance and any issues. The gentleman walked me through everything and had to replace a part and not only showed me but told me why. He told me the price and asked to do it and wasn’t pushy. Changed the part and discussed my needs for my system. Will continue business with them and highly recommend
Logan Heating and Air is a great company. They are very professional and have great staff that treats you like family. They definitely are little pricey, but worth it. Have gotten residential and commercial work done from them.
I have used Logan for years and never been disappointed. They are thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. I have never had to call them back, job is always done right the first time.
I would like to renounce my review of Logan. We have had issues with them from day one. First of all, I hired them because they are a reputable company. We needed an inspection for the home we were purchasing and the units to be serviced while they were there. They said our inspection was "good". Our air broke next week. We hired another company who came out to tell us that the valves (?) were dirty, clogged and had a leak. He showed us. So we again had to pay to have it serviced correctly and more freon! Logan tech did not even check! I will give Logan one star for admitting guilt on 3 separate occasions when they came out. We were given a refund one of the times. If we would have left for time to go to the beach our whole ceiling would have caved in because the tech did not clean out the water like he was supposed to (Picture attached) I will say that Logan admitted it was their fault but in no way offered to repaint our ceiling. We repainted ourselves but you know how white is..you have to paint the whole ceiling for it to match. When the Logan manager came to see it and we told him that we would try to fix the ceiling ourselves he was SO thankful. The manager went on and on how they cannot find good techs and how "men don't want to work anymore" and how "this is going to keep me out of so much trouble". Poor manager. Also, Maura, who works in the office is the most RUDE unprofessional employee I have ever dealt with. I cannot believe Logan allows her to treat and talk to customers the way she does. Terrible. I wasn't going to worry about changing my good review (honestly I had forgotten), until I recently found out from a liable source how poorly Logan treats their managers who work off of commission. Logan, ya'll are terrible. To anyone reading this who is in need of new units as well. we went with a small two man company (I would recommend them, but the owner recently passed recently). We paid about $12,000 for 2 units. Also, the stain got WAY worse (around 3 feet). Now all of our crown molding is cracking (this is almost a year later), so we have to pay more money to get this fixed. Thanks Logan!
Good communication from booking appointment to receiving a text when the technician was on the way. Technician was on time, wearing a mask, friendly and professional. He took care of our service in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend Logan.
